I love Ridge Racer on PSP, 360, and PS3. I'm working my way through the RR6 campaign now, and it controls so smoothly.
I would be so happy if we get a RR8!
Two words: NO MERCY!
Unacceptable. PS3, PSP, and PS Vita all do a better job playing PS1 games via emulation. What happened with this sloppy mess? If it's not ready yet, don't rush it out and release it. Shouldn't the executives have learned this lesson with the PlayStation Classic from a few years back?
And they have the audacity to charge you a fee for this 'privilege'? What Sony should do is make it free during what is clearly a beta test launch, and not the finished emul...
Softmod your Vita (and PS TV if you own one), and it becomes one of the best gaming devices ever.
- You can still play online if you wish.
- Use an SD card (even 1 TB!) instead of the over-priced and no-longer-in-manufacturing trash Vita memory cards.
- Remove the PS Vita whitelist feature, and play every game, including Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Gravity Rush, and everything else on your PS TV.
- Nearly every single PS...
The music was outstanding, the artistic design of the world was excellent. It was simply rushed a year before it should have come out. Poor framerate, too many glitches, no optimization, what a shame. Sure it wouldn't have been masterpiece, but if it had an extra year it would have been at the minimum an average game.
The worst part is, during the era of hard drives and game patches, SEGA didn't bother to patch the game, and the later released PS3 version didn't...
LoveSpuds, I beat SuperMan 64, so yeah I can beat just about anything. And let me tell you, that game is a negative 10 out of a 100. Horrible dumpster trash fire, why am I doing this to myself? lol
There's 6 mainline Syphon Filter games, the first game is trash, I just beat it 30 minutes ago, skip it unless if you want to torture yourself like I did. But I heard part 2 is better.
I have only played the PS2 game Omega Strain for a short time, but it wasn't fun at all. You could do 4 player online co-op, but if you played offline the enemy damage spongey-ness didn't change, making it a terrible chore to play solo.
Then there are the final ...
What a coincidence, I just beat Syphon Filter for the first time on my Vita 30 minutes ago. Hated the game, terrible controls, awful and unclear game design, throwaway plot, same levels drag on for way too long, there's a glitch during the stealth part near the end of Mission 4. I only made it through the game because of save states, without it, its certainly not worth playing. Fortunately PlayStation Classic games will have save state support, so make good use of it.
A...
Yeah I went through it as well, here's what I do:
- Listen to the soundtracks often.
- Play the games on a higher difficulty setting (unless if you already do this).
- Play side content, such as all the VR Missions in MGS1 and MGS2:S. Skateboarding in MGS2:S. Snake vs. Monkey in MGS3. MGO2 on PS3 is now brought back via fan servers. Get 100% completion in Peacewalker and V. And of course play Rising: Revegeance, and torture yourself...
I have no desire to play this game, but this is good news. I previously believed that the game would release no matter what later this year, even though it would have been clearly unfinished. Hopefully now when it does release it'll be in good shape, and not a typical unpolished Bethesda mess.
Game delays are not worth getting upset over. However admittedly, there's hardly anything exciting to play on Xbox platforms, and its been that way for a very long time. What ...
Glad I held out even after they announced the Ambassador's Program and picked up a 3DS XL instead of the smaller 3DS. Now we can easily softmod our 3DS / 2DS and play the entire GBA library instead of the paltry 10 that Nintendo offered (as well as GB / GBC / SMS / GG / GEN / NES / SNES + more).
After softmodding, the 3DS / 2DS became some of the greatest devices ever. I play them all the time, and will continue to do so for decades on.
I love The Sands of Time so much. People are upset over this news but to me it's good news for once from Ubisoft.
I want this remake done right, so I'm glad to hear that some of the originals devs are working on the remake. I just hope that there's none of that Ubi-junk infesting the game (grinding, skill trees, micro-trash-actions).
That said, the original games hold up just fine for me to this day, and I'll do another playthrough soon on...
Dang, thats unfortunate if true. Tony Khan has all the money in the world, there should be no budgeting issues here.
Feels like self-inflicted problems and drama. Work together, make a great game that feels like either No Mercy or early Smackdown! titles and it'll sell well.
I stopped buying WWE games after Smackdown! vs Raw in 2006. Here's hoping AEW can fill that void.
I'll keep it simple, there further we go back, the more I like the series, and the more recent we head towards, the less I like the series.
I loved the first 5 games (ending with III). They all have flaws for sure, but there was lore that I was interested in. After ACIII, the lore died, and nothing mattered anymore. I still had fun with BF / Rogue / Unity / Syndicate, but it was becoming stale, repetitive, and quality control was dropping (yearly releases was clearly ha...
I keep reading comments and articles like this, but I just don't see it. MS has gone above and beyond when concerning making business moves in the gaming industry, but have done jack diddly squat when it comes to actual gaming itself.
The last time I was excited for an MS published game was all the way back in 2011 with Gears of War 3. Excellent game, lived up to the hype, but after that MS hasn't excited me a single time.
- Kinect took over the t...
After 9 years of usage, my 1080p Plasma died one year ago, and thus I began the process of looking up which TV model to buy.
As you already stated, Sony promised VRR for their 2020 model TVs, and I was on the fence trying to figure out which TV is best for me, however, I read an important comment on reddit which was, "Never buy a TV based on promised features, buy it for what it has in the here and now."
Based on reddit recommendations, I settle...
The PC and PS4 / PS5 versions support light gun style controllers.
On PC you have 5 or 6 options to use a gun to move the mouse cursor around.
The PS4 / PS5 version supports PS Move + plastic gun attachment (not at launch, it will be patched in later).
However, Xbox, Switch, and Stadia versions, insta-pass. The Xbox One and PS4 has its own light gun, called PDP Mars, which only has support for 3 games. The gun doesn't work on my OLED TV which is frustr...
Would be a good idea to reconsider, the controls simply don't work well via gyro. Only buy it for Switch if you love playing rail shooters with an analog stick. Even then, I'd pass, there's so many better rail shooters to play with an analog stick instead.
This is not a Sega game, its being published by Forever Entertainment. A small publisher from Poland operating with very limited budgets.
On one hand I agree, PS Move support should have been in the game day 1, and it clearly shows us how rushed this game is, trying to make a quick buck off it ASAP. But, on the other hand, this is the first non-VR game to use PS Move controllers on PS4, which is something unexpected and at least they put in the effort to make it possible (...
