So basically these pre-order bonuses are not available to the rest of the planet.

I actually think these physical items are a better idea rather than taken bits out of the game and repackaging them as "pre-order shop exclusive" game content but it would have been better if these pre-order gifts had also been made available everywhere rather than just the US.

I am not pre-ordering Dragon Age 2 for two reasons. The first is the way they treated steam customers by purposely locking us out of the signature edition.

Secondly they are going to produce a crap load of over priced DLC for DA 2 so I will wait for the "ultimate" edition when they sell all the content for the correct price rather than let them nickel and dime me.

It obviously doesn't bother EA since they are treating Dragon Age like a franchise. They are releasing Dragon Age 2 and there is a beta of some crappy facebook game called Dragon Age Legends out. I would say that fits with what people associate with the word "franchise".

@ JonahFalcon - that 90,000 figure was a load of rubbish. The figures are from NPD which is the US ONLY. So in ONE territory Crysis sold 90,000 in the first week. Not only that but the US is actually the weakest territory for the PC. It would be like you looking at xbox 360 game sales in Japan and coming to the conclusion that represents the "world",

Crysis did damn fine sales wise with 3 million sold and a further 1.5 million copies of Warhead sold as well.

ROFL well that was "perfect" timing I guess.

14 hours played here for me (PC version) and not encountered much in the way of bugs. Although I do think it is unfair to say this game is "bug free". A quick visit to the forum will illustrate that online is a broken mess at the moment and right now I haven't touched online (may do later).

"Rich Taylor stated that Dungeon Siege III will be more “stable” than its previous titles."

Rough translation "Dungeon Siege III crashes every 5 minutes instead of every 4 minutes like our previous games".

I have to laugh at the requirements though :-

"Must have shipped at least 2 recent PC games"

That will be 2 more PC games than Rockstar have shipped in the past 2 years. I doubt this has anything to do with the PC platform but speculation never hurt anyone I guess.

The problem with the price increase gamingdroid is that PC gamers are now paying the same price as console gamers. Yet at least $10 of the console price is the "console royalty" fee. The PC has no royalty fee so why should we be paying the same price as console gamers ?

Hm lets see, console price tag, no PC demo, Cliffy slagging me off as PC gamer and now the game will require a constant net connection. Well all I can say is they lost my custom at the "console price tag" bit the rest of the crap EA and Epic have pulled just cemented my resolve to not touch their products.

It also makes sense to never let the games come to the PC. This has been part of MS's problem people have been saying "why buy the 360 version when the PC version will come out sooner or later and it will be cheaper and better ?".

The only way they can combat that is to ensure titles do not get released on the PC ever. Basically saying "if you want to play this game you have to buy an xbox 360".

It isn't just MS that does this, S...

Nope that is not the reason why Microsoft keeps games off the PC I really wish people would do a bit of reading before making falsehoods like this.

Microsoft has already STATED why they keep their games off the PC :-

"If we launch a game that is on 360 and PC simultaneously, we basically shoot ourselves in the foot by allowing the German market to choose to play the PC version -- because they are more likely to buy that than spend their money on the Xb...

Community Manager Chris Priestly has commented on the issue. He has stated they are aware of the issue, they know why it is happening and they will be releasing a patch to fix it.

In the mean time you can still play Mass Effect 2 on your PS3 as long as you simply restart your game every few hours. By shutting down and restarting your game, you will not encounter the corrupted save issue.

That information has been posted by Bioware.

For those interested, Bioware has commented on the corrupt save game issue. Chris Priestly had this to say about the problem :-

Chris Priestly wrote...

Hello everyone.

We are aware that a small group of Playstation 3 users are getting corrupted saves while playing Mass Effect 2. We are aware of the issue and we are working on a patch to fix it. This issue is caused by too many level transitions within a single gaming session. Players who pl...

No it isn't going to be on the PC which makes you wonder why it is in the PC section. But then why should I be surprised the PC doesn't have RDR either but we still get stories about RDR in the PC section.

In other news water is a liquid substance that can leave carbon based lifeforms in a state of extreme dampness if they come into contact with it.

But in all seriousness this isn't really news, we already knew this. Hell they even got the "demo available to those that bought the GOTY edition" wrong. The demo is available to everyone that bought Boderlands from steam before a certain date and will be available to everyone one week later.

Still i...

well at least it is only 1 a month now instead of 1 every god damn week. You never know there is hope yet that this "PC is dying" bull might actually die itself.

The ME 1 digital comic is part of the Cerberus Network pack you have to download the comic from the Cerberus Network to play it.

I don't have a PS3 so I don't know how you gain access to the Cerberus network but I remember seeing someone mention you can access the DLC from an in game menu option.
