Not quite sure why someone disagreed with you about stating a well known fact. Unfortunately the story submitters on N4G pay very little attention to basics like "what platform the game is on and thus what platform should be tagged".
@ Criminal - Don't worry about it, you aren't the first and I doubt you will be the last.
Your figures are slightly out of date, it now stands at :-
54% of the market consists of Android based phones
26% of the market belongs to Apple
2% belongs to Microsoft (this has actually gone down)

There isn't even ONE single solitary WP 7 phone in the top 20. It is quite gratifying to...
You will be lucky to even see the standard edition of Mass Effect 3 appear on steam if EA have their way. They have already stated that the DDE version of ME 3 is exclusive to their Origin service. There is some real doubt brewing that EA will even allow the standard version of Mass Effect 3 to appear on Steam.
To be honest there is nothing all that exciting about this CE version. If anything it is a bit of a rip off, it costs twice the price of the normal edition and all you get is some in game costumes, reskinned weapons, a crappy cyber dog, a lame fabric patch, a small lithograph and a book.
They really have dropped the ball with the CE version it is such a shame because they could have made a killing from the Mass Effect fans by releasing a decent Collectors Edition.
The reason why there is no "making of" dvd in the collectors edition is that they are making the videos available to ALL via their Bioware pulse channel. You can watch them as they are released here :-

Unfortunately the steam version of GTA 4 is the version fully patched to 1.0.7.0. This version is incredibly difficult to mod and as far as I know there has been no downgrader yet.
In short if you want to get GTA 4 for the mods then you are better picking up the retail version. You can probably find a retail version of GTA 4 cheaper than steam usually sells if for anyway.
Another crap load of stuff bought today from steam. It is killing my wallet. Just looking now and I have 125 games all of them installed and ready to play at the click of a button.
I would say the main reason steam is ahead of the competition is that they try and make the sale items available to ALL countries (you heard me EA, D2D and Gamersgate). Steam is successful because they realised one crucial tiny small detail and that is PC gaming is GLOBAL and not limited to the ...
Meanwhile no PC gamer gives a crap because they are too busy pouring the content of their wallets into Valves bank account via the Steam Summer Sale.
I have to say it's a great idea to lump GFWL into one with Xbox.com there is no surer way to get PC gamers to avoid the service like the plague (like they already do).
You are basing that on what exactly ? Have a look at Rockstar Leeds portfolio and feast your eyes over the many games they have produced on the PC ....... oh wait they have never done anything on the PC.
So just like GTA 4 the port is being given to a studio that has never produced a single PC game ever in their history. Yeah I can see the reason for the confidence.
I am a PC gamer myself so I hear what you are saying. However my point is giving us a late port of LA Noire and just giving us the same features in a football game can hardly be classed as "trying".
I would personally say it is more of an insult than any attempt at trying to rectify the neglect these companies have shown on the PC platform.
Yeah a lot of PC gamers such as myself said exactly the same thing about GTA 4 before it was released on the PC. I wouldn't get my hopes up for 60fps in a PC version of LA Noire.
I have to agree with fluffydelusions here. I would hardly call "getting a late port" and a football game with the SAME features as the console indicates it was a good week for PC gamers.
Well as a PC gamer it means another Rockstar port job I should stay well clear of.
Maybe it's PC gamers like me that are fed up with this bull from Rockstar. I know I won't be bothering with LA Noire, not only because it is a late port but I do not have any faith in Rockstar to produce a competent product on the PC.
When it comes to Rockstar games I take the attitude of "release the PC version at the same time as the console version or don't bother".
Hm with the reported lay offs from IGN I would say IGN is more doomed than PC gaming is at the moment. But then if this article is the best IGN can come up with it is no wonder they are laying people off.
Do you guys seriously believe this game will launch in Autumn 2011 ? This is Rockstar we are talking about here. There is a reason they gave a vague "Fall" date.
Hm by the time it comes to the PC it will be a year old port, probably horribly optimised and they will expect PC gamers to pay a console price tag. Yeah that is definitely an enticing product on the PC.
I don't think I will bother, it will probably be in the bargain bucket a week after release and I still won't bother.
Just as an idea, why wait ? If you see a good game deal then don't pass it up because you have a weak PC. Simply buy the game and then download it once you have a decent PC.
Most DD sites allow you to download the game whenever you like, there is no "limit" and you certainly do not have to download the game right after you have bought it.
This is especially true of Steam. So if you see a game deal that is irresistible and whilst you don't...
Pretty much this too, the terms of service surrounding Origin are horrible even a sale of 50% off isn't attractive.
They need to have a "default" femshep to feature in promotional material. In the actual game you can make your femshep look how the hell you want her too. However for the CE cover and the femshep trailer they have to have a "default" shep
That is what you are voting for on facebook.
