"EA remain steadfast that they have not tried to violate the personal privacy of any of their Origin users."
Really well that is surprising. I was expecting EA to say "hell yeah we installed spyware on peoples PC's and we are sniffing the hell out of everything they have on their PC's so we can make a 2 bit marketing profile of that person and make even more money out of people that pay for our products".
I wouldn't trust EA t...
I won't be buying any EA games until they ditch Origin. I don't like the service, I don't like the terms of use and I don't particularly trust EA with a DD service.
I don't believe it stands a chance against something like Steam or any of the other DD companies. All that is going to happen is EA are going to see sales of their PC titles nosedive. Naturally it will get blamed on piracy and not the fact the market does not want Origin.
Bioware just posted an FAQ on the crapiplayer erm sorry multiplayer :-
http://social.bioware.com/f...
Not that impressed with the FAQ it smacks of "oh it won't affect things honest guys it won't and it will be really really good it really will it will be really really good".
All I need now is confirmation that Mass Effect 3 will use EA's...
Yeah well GTA 4 didn't exactly have a smooth release on the consoles either :-

I believe there was a patch about a week later to fix some issues with MP. These days console games need just as much patching as PC games.
A site called "expertgamingnews" really does need some "experts" that actually know what they are talking about.
You do not need to constantly upgrade your PC to play games. You do not need a $500 graphics card to play The Witcher 2 on medium settings. Valve have not gone multiplatform because of piracy, they went multiplatform because it makes SENSE to bring your product to as many customers as possible (yet the best version remains the PC version .......
Well it is "new" but all Bioware are doing is showing the same level over and over and over and over and over again. To be honest as much of a Mass Effect fan as I am I have stopped following the videos of ME 3 because I am so sick and tired of seeing the Sur'kesh demo.
Come on Bioware show us something new oh and a little bit less of the damn omniblade. We get it you can stab people with a projection of light.
This is going to be the first time we will get a dedicated femshep trailer and it will also be the first time femshep will appear on the printed box (on the back of the CE version only). So it would have been nice to have had something decent looking instead of this clichéd crap that somehow got voted in (seriously red hair, green eyes and freckles give me a break).
Yes of course you will still be able to design your own femshep in the game. This "vote" was j...
What is the source of these preliminary specs ? I read through the article several times and not once did they say where they got these specs from.
Just trying Mass Effect 2 now on the system (already have the game so I wanted to see what it felt like). Overall this Gaikai isn't too shabby. The Mass Effect 2 demo plays quite well not as good as I can play the full game on my PC (1080p @ 60fps) but still not as bad as I feared. Not to mention I am on an 8mb connection which is 2mbs below the recommended.
I could see this system becoming very useful, but I can't see it encouraging me to ditch having high spec ga...
Joker EDI romance is being “looked at”.
There are not enough face palm pictures on the internet to illustrate how absolutely moronic that is. I appreciate Bioware "listens" to the fans but come on here that is a bit much.
They can do a Mass Effect 4 if they like, but I myself am finished with the series after Mass Effect 3. I don't like the direction that Bioware is taking and the only reason I am getting Mass Effect 3 is to see the conclusion of Shepard's story
Nope I don't think of "Barbie" when I hear Jennifer Hales voice. I think of my strong independent BLONDE femshep. I think it is great that No.5 is winning TO ME she is the closest match to how I would picture FemShep.
As for only letting the female contingent vote that is ridiculous. It might interest you to know that FemShep is played by quite a few MALE gamers too. The primary reason being a lot of guys get fed up with playing "generic space marine wi...
Some of a suspicious mind would come to the conclusion that is why EA are doing this. They keep the game off steam for as long as they can then bang after release they can release it on steam and charge for the DLC as well (which they are doing with the Kirkland DLC). But that is only if you have a suspicious mind.
As for registering your game, you will probably be able to register it via Origin. However you will not be able to register it as a steam game. Only games that...
Hm the heading should be "EA Goes All Out To Tempt US Gamers, Rest of the world can sod off". This is why EA's Origin will fail. At least Steam makes an attempt to make their sales available WORLDWIDE because the PC is a GLOBAL platform. Hell the PC's stronghold is Europe and Asia, two territories that EA is completely ignoring.
All I am hearing and seeing from Origin is "we don't want your money, go away" and if that is the case I am more t...
The game will NOT support steering wheels. Ubisoft tweeted yesterday that steering wheels wouldn't work well with the game ???? Yep that's right the universal way of controlling a car will not work well with a driving game :-

The femshep vote is to determine the PUBLIC face of femshep. You can of course use whatever femshep you like in the actual game. However Bioware need a decent default femshep for marketing purposes like trailers and the femshep appearing on the box, that is what people are voting for.
Basically we are voting for the female version of Sheploo.
The default femshep was just something Bioware chucked together in five minutes with the character creator and for all accounts was a pretty awful look.
This "new" femshep is going to be used for marketing purposes and will appear on the Collector Edition box. The old default femshep does not cut it hence the need for a new femshep.
The competition is meant to be a bit of fun and give us the opportunity to give our feedback to Bioware about what we...
I know David Silverman is just the PR guy but he is quite receptive to fan feedback. He is incredibly active on twitter and has even replied to several tweets from me. He also doesn't take anything too seriously. At Com Con this week he was messing around dressed up as Wrex.
It is also thanks to David that they are now paying more attention to femshep too. However having said all that he is a PR guy so he is going to say "woo yeah Mass Effect 3 best game like EVA...
I have heard Braben say this sooooooooo many times it has lost meaning. I don't expect there to ever be a new Elite some one somewhere will distract Braben with something shiny.
The blue planet isn't a planet it is a Sun and the shot appears at the end of Mass Effect 2 (if you play the game a certain way). So no it isn't a spoiler to Mass Effect 3.
