Oh I don't know I have cried playing many games, I remember Mercenaries 2 brought me floods of tears, mainly because I couldn't believe I had forked out good money for that pile of crap.
Ah well one less game for me to buy. I don't pay $60 to rent a game which is what this DRM effectively is turning these games into. Too bad looked like a good game but then it is by Ubisoft and they have a solid history of crap ports behind them.
Just waiting to hear what Fallout 3 will have for DRM, if that is clear of this limited activations crap then I will get it instead of Farcry 2.
I tried it and regretted it, damn what is it with this cutesy crap these days. I am sorry but I don't want to play this kind of crap on my PC.
You didn't read that article very well because Garry's Mod is there on page 5.
Feel free to, infact please do and whilst you are at it show us where you obtained the figures as well so we can verify their accuracy.
The fact is piracy is a problem on both the 360 and PC we can argue till the cows come home which is worse. However I have lost count of the times I have seen the Xbox 360 game get leaked weeks before the release date, whereas the PC version in some cases doesn't get cracked till nearly a week after it's release date (classic example bioshock)...
Yes it does because I never bother with the 360. PS3 sections since it is just a load of fanboy squabbling. It just seems odd that a PC related story is tagged for the PS3. I was just wondering if there was a reason behind it.
Oh wait what is that on pirate bay ? oh yeah look it's the 360 version of Saints Row 2 well colour me NOT surprised.
I half expect this to be canned for the PC anyway, I played Saints Row 1 on the 360 and thought it was crap, so I can't see myself bothering with Saints Row 2 on the PC. Besides PC gamers are already getting hyped for GTA 4, so there is no point in them releasing Saints Row 2 on the PC.
Edit : Just outof curiosiy why is this news flagged for PS3 onl...
No thanks I want high resolutions and fast framerates, so I will stick with the PC.
This story is pretty comical when you look on the torrent sites and see the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3 available for download nearly 3 weeks before release date, yet there is no sign of the PC version. Yeah looks to me as if the PC isn't the only format suffering badly from piracy.
erm El_Colombiano fallout 3 has the exact same release date on both the PC and 360. So what is your explaination now ?
Rofl at the disagree, so you are disagreeing with me saying that the game is released on the PC and 360 at the same time, even though the blatant fact is both versions are scheduled for release on the 28th in the US and 31st in Europe.
I love the way some people immediately assumed it was the PC version. It is usually always the case the 360 version gets leaked onto the net before the PC version. Hmm interesting that isn't it.
You aren't missing much believe me, the demo lasts all of 5 mins. Basically think COD 4 with a James Bond theme and that is it really. I wouldn't say the graphics are anything to shout about, still it ran smoothly on my PC at 1680 x 1050 only allows 4x AA and it seems to be capped at 30fps.
I am annoyed there is no option to run it in a windows (I sometimes like to keep an eye on other things on my desktop) and there are no subtitles which is ridiculous in this day and age.
...
I have to admit I am impressed it is kinda nice of them to give the PC crowd first dibs on the demo for a change, just downloaded it and installing now. If the game is any good I might be picking this up, kudo's to Treyarch for this.
ROFL £234 for a motherboard.. Hm think I will wait for a bit till prices come down to something resembling "sanity". My 2 year old quad is not showing any sign that it will be obsolete anytime soon.
I imagine when my next full PC upgrade happens in 3 years time these boards will be like 50 quid got to love the competition in the PC market place.
I can't say I am too hyped for this game. I loved the first one DeusX was a fantastic piece of gaming but the sequal Invisible War, oh god don't get me started. If the game is closer to the first DeusX then this will be a must buy. But if it is closer to Invisible War I will be skipping it.
Exactly right when you pay for a game you pay for a licence to USE it. You never OWN the game. This licence can be taken away at any time from you should you breach the terms or if they just feel like doing it. As for why people don't know this, that's simple most gamers have grown up with consoles and this information is not readily displayed to them, so they go under the impression they "own what they bought".
Funny did you miss this bit :-
"Deux Ex 3 follows the latest Invisible War title, released in 2003 for the PC. The title is set to hit stores next holiday season for the PS3, PC and Xbox 360 platforms."
I guess you did.
Nah you want to do what I do, run the folding at home gpu client to use up all those spare frames per second that are frivolous. It's funny really I can run all console ports max settings at 1680 x 1050 and still run the gpu folding client. The only game that loses fps rates is Crysis and Warhead.
The problem with skipping Bioshock one and getting Bioshock 2 is the fact you may not GET Bioshock 2 if Bioshock doesn't sell well on the PS3. You can bet your life that Take Two will be monitoring sales of Bioshock on the PS3 and that will determine whether you get Bioshock 1.
To be honest Lucasarts has lost the respect of the very fans that made them in the first place. Years ago they were known for quality titles that pushed the boundaries and technology. Now they just bring out shovel ware on as many platforms as they can.
It is pretty clear why Force Unleashed was never released on the PC, they wised up and realised most PC gamers wouldn't pay for such crap. However rather than have the guts to say the game is mediocre at best they invent some p...
