There are only three comments because people like you have driven PC gamers and normal sane people away from this site. If you were not so blinkered you would know there is massive anticipation for the PC version of the game and it's IMPROVEMENTS.
I know I am looking forward to the PC version even though I bought a console just to play this one game. I have since binned my console and I am looking forward to the superior PC version of the game.
I wouldn't hold my breath for the exclusive DLC to appear on any platform except the xbox 360. In fact Rob Nelson (producer in charge of the PC version) was asked about the DLC for the PC version and this was his response :-
"The downloadable content is exclusive to the Xbox 360,"

Ok I am a bit confused here. How is listing all the Xbox360 achievements on an xbox360 website suddenly PC news ? I don't doubt that the PC will have exactly the same achievements as the 360 as far as I am aware the PS3 trophies are the same "tasks". I just can't understand why this is PC news ?
I have to admit I am absolutely staggered anyone bothered wasting their bandwidth on this pile of crap. I tried the demo and was totally lost for words at how truly awful the game was. Now you can bleat on about 82% piracy rate but I would bet all 82% thought the game was a load of crap and uninstalled it after five minutes. I know I couldn't get the demo off my machine fast enough.
Now I am sure this game did well on the Wii, but I wouldn't even dare suggest this game did bad...
So I take it you have problems with the GTA franchise too then ? I mean in that game you are practically encouraged to run totally innocent people over or smack them into the wall with your car. How about Fallout 3 where you are given the opportunity to completely wipeout an entire settlement of innocent men, women and children ? that is just two examples I can think of off the top of my head.

Gamers with ethics don't make me laugh. Every single day we play games that involve death and destruction yet no one bats an eyelid about it. However the japs come up with something like this and all of a sudden people are the paragon of virtues.

Yeah and I think the entire PC division is currently paying all the bills for the Xbox and Xbox 360. You are aware that 99% of MS's revenue is still generated by the PC don't you. The fact is Xbox users can be forced to use XBL, PC users can't we have so many other companies we can turn too that it is a waste of time trying to introduce a paid network to the PC.
Why on earth would they make XBL free, there are way too many people stupid enough to pay for it. There is a reason why GFWL is free on the PC and that is competition, the PC has so many different services available to them that trying to introduce a "paid" service was inevitably doomed.
To be honest even though the GFWL service is free I still can't stand it. I would much rather see PC games using a native PC network like Steam, it aggravates me that MS has locked GT...
I believe the PC delay is to do with "inventory problems". Although I imagine Left 4 Dead is a factor in Rockstar delaying the PC version. It appears Left 4 Dead has the exact same release schedule as GTA 4 on the PC. Now naturally a game that is nearly a year old is not going stand a chance against something fresh and new like L4D (don't flame me I thought L4D was crap but it is a new game).

I will be the first to admit that the 8800gts isn't a great card by any standards today and yes it is showing it's age. I might be tempted a little bit later on to upgrade it if Nvidia produce something worth buying.

The console version of a game is usually the equivalent of low to medium settings on the PC anyway at a pretty low res of 720p as well.
You do not need to spend £500 every 8 months and if you did then you were doing it very very wrong. My latest PC built around the same time as the PS3 launch is still playing games BETTER ie better graphics, frame rates and resolution than your consoles. I don't know why people bother with these articles. I already know PC gaming is better than the consoles. I already know my 2 year old quad and 8800gts (that cost me £80 more than a PS3 at launch) it's playing games better than the consoles. I can't say I have had a problem logging into games for windows live with Fallout 3. Maybe you have a firewall or your router is blocking the connection but I am not aware of any problems with people playing Fallout 3 and not being able to log in.
I wish they had added a bit more customisation to this GFWL though, not a big fan of the colour scheme they used and it would have been nice to have the option of altering it to my own preferred tastes. It just seems all a wee bit too...
I imagine what you are talking about is the desktop client which will be released later. The update here is just a face lift although I do like the fact they have dumped all the xbox style "push A" I don't have a joypad and it will be a cold day in hell before I attach one to my PC. Other than that there isn't much to be said about the update except it is very erm "blue".

This site is truly incredible. I got a disagree for stating a FACT, it is a FACT that Sony and MS get a royalty fee between 10 and 15 dollars for every disc manufactured to run on their machine. That is the reason why PC games are cheaper and yet some idiot on this site still disagrees with that fact.
It is not valve's fault the price for the Xbox 360 version is $60. The reason the PC version is cheaper is purely down to there being NO royalty fee to pay. When you buy a console game between $10 - $15 goes straight to Microsoft/Sony even if they have had NOTHING to do with the game. That is why the console version is more expensive.
Excellent post Ricdeau and sums it up very nicely. I get incredibly annoyed when I see people come in here going "ha ha my console can run this". This is the PC section if you have nothing constructive to say like Ricdeau then go back to your relevant 360/PS3 sections and beat your chests there we don't care for it much in the PC section.
