Yeah it's much better to wait 6 months and still get a bug ridden incomplete release characteristic of shoddy porting which is exactly what is going to happen.

The reason the PC version has been delayed has nothing to do with "improving the PC version" and has everything to do with Microsoft worrying that the PC will take away sales from their console. So to prevent that they just won't release it on the PC till they are sure it can no longer affect sales o...

I know a lot of PC gamers that couldn't care less that Fable 2 didn't come to the PC. Just because you know people that were annoyed about Fable 2 not coming to the PC doesn't mean the majority of PC gamers care about Fable 3 coming to the PC or being delayed.

In fact I would say the pathetic response Fable 1 received on the PC shows just how little interest there is in this franchise on the PC. Why would a PC gamer be satisfied with Fable when we have The Witch...

Oh look how many PC gamers actually care .......... seriously no PC gamer cared about Fable 2 not being on the PC why should we care if Fable 3 gets delayed ?

It has nothing to do with piracy, Microsoft are on record as stating they hold games OFF the PC to boost sales on the Xbox 360. They know that in places such as Europe the PC is dominant and if they allow European users to choose between the PC version and the Xbox version people will choose the PC version.

Don't believe me ? Then here is the exact quote :-

Peter Zetterberg: On a global scale the Windows Vista business is as important as our Xbox 360 bu...

OK this "list" confuses me, firstly why are they telling us to avoid World In Conflict since it never came to the consoles (how do you avoid something that doesn't exist ?) The game was fantastic fun on the PC and one of my fave RTS games to date so why you would avoid it on the PC is beyond me.

Why are they also telling you to avoid the N64 version of Starcraft ? I mean seriously how damn old is the N64 ? I don't know you get the impression they were &qu...

You have a pretty strange definition of "high" then if you consider the requirements high for this game. The official system requirements are :-

Minimum Requirements

2.6 GHz Pentium® IV or equivalent AMD Athlon® processor
128 MB PCIe NVIDIA® GeForce® 6600 GT or ATI Radeon® 9800 PRO video card or better 12 GB available HD space.

Recommended Requirements :-

Dual Core 2.4Ghz Processor ...

lol you got to be kidding me, I am amazed Blizzard even bothered with Dx9 I am sure they could have come up with some excuse to make this game DX8 /sarcasm off.

This game is designed so it can run on extremely low hardware (by today's standards) so no this does not support Dx11 (it will run fine on Dx11 capable machines but you won't see any extra graphical niceness), it is a Dx9 game. Hell this game doesn't even have Anti-Analising unless you force it via the dr...

Oh god yet another game that is "GOTY" I take it this game will be GOTY till the next game comes along ? How about we wait till nearer the end of the year before we start proclaiming this rubbish.

Not been keeping up with the news have you ? Starcraft 2 did not cost $100 million :-

“Activision Blizzard Inc. hasn't disclosed development costs for its Starcraft II videogame. A July 16 Technology article about the Starcraft sequel incorrectly said the company spent more than $100 million to develop the game; that figure referred to its World of Warcraft game,”

You have to question the wisdom of doing "routine maintenance" when you just launched a massive game just 48 hours ago. I am not disputing that something as massive as battle.net needs routine maintenance but come on here less than 48 hours after the release of Starcraft 2 that is a bit moronic to say the least.

I have always been led to believe PC gamers didn't care about achievements is this impression wrong ? I know I have been a PC gamer for 20 odd years and I seriously couldn't give a crap about the things. So if I was to pirate starcraft 2 the fact I wouldn't have access to achievements wouldn't be sending me to hang myself.

I am not saying I am going to pirate Starcraft 2, I don't pirate games I was merely illustrating that the game has been cracked and i...

I hate to break this to you Narutone66 but you are wrong, the pirated copies of Starcraft 2 can indeed be played without any problems (single player at least) The only problem was the fact you couldn't continue your campaign from in the game (you had to double click on the save game to continue the campaign).

But I think we can safely say that battle.net, lack of lan did absolutely nothing to stop this game being pirated. Still it does show how hollow some publishers ar...

The people that write these stories do they actually have a clue or live in the real world ? There was a "non-scene" crack to play the SP campaign within hours of the games release and in under 24 hours there was a fully working crack that lets you access pretty much everything in the game except MP (PC pirate games never give you access to MP).

So basically this story is a load of bull, yet despite the piracy the game will still go on to sell massively which kind ...

That is a pretty poor showing for a PC developer like Blizzard. If PC developers like Blizzard are pulling this rubbish why should we be surprised when multiplatform developers don't embrace the extra features and facilities of the PC.

I fail to see how "Rockstar hiring staff" equates to Rockstar doing Red Dead Redemption for the PC. The only evidence I have seen that barely hints at this possibility, was a few weeks ago when Rockstar were hiring programmers with Dx10/11 experience. That could hint at some sort of PC title in the works or them preparing for MS's new console which will probably use a Dx10/11 hybrid.

Oh yeah and I agree with djpolofish I wish people would stop calling it GTA 5...

It is my understanding that only the Polish version has a dubbed spoken sound track. The other versions are just English spoken dialogue and native subtitles for each region.

There is definitely something very strange about this. People that are affected by this issue are even saying "fine release the DLC without any regional localisation" but Bioware are refusing to do that stating "quality issues".

At any rate this is putting a real da...

I haven't noticed much talk about the shadowbroker DLC. However I want to make Xbox and PC users aware that the shadow broker DLC will not be available in 4 territories. These 4 territories are Poland, Hungary, Czech and Slovenia so if you have one of those native copies you will not get this DLC.

This was posted by Micheal Gamble one of the developers :-

"I wanted to give a bit more insight into the Polish, Czech and Hungarian builds for our fans....

Because I do not own a PS3, nor do I own a 360. I am a PC gamer and I prefer to play games on the PC. They are selling me the lesser version after making some shady deal with Sony and I am not going to go out and reward both Sony (by buying their console) and 2K by buying a cut down version of the game.

I don't like it when companies try to have their cake and eat it too. They may get others to buy the lesser version on the PC and 360 but they are not going to get th...

That is only if you factor in the fact that PC users do not have to pay for a licence fee. If you remove the licence fee from the cost of the PS3/360 version then PC gamers are paying the same price for the content. I should have been clearer in my post about that.

It doesn't change the fact that PC gamers are paying the same price as PS3 users (minus the console licence fee) and getting lesser content. In my view that is disgusting and despicable and not to be tolerat...

I was a massive fan of Mafia 1 on the PC and was eagerly anticipating Mafia 2. How times change, this game has gone from "must pre-order" too "meh might buy it for a fiver in a steam sale".

Fristly the specs put me right off, to max this game out with Apex physics you need a damn i7, a GTX470 AND a GTX285. That is ridiculous and makes me gravely concerned for how well Mafia 2 will actually run on my quad + GTX260 (I am expecting sub console visuals going...
