There are 232 PC exclusive games on that list, but lets say you are right for a second and 70% of them are "crap" that leaves 30% that aren't crap. So a quick stab at maths shows us that nearly 70 of those games listed are not "crap". Tell me do consoles have 70 exclusives this year ?

Please MS getting back into gaming, not in a month of Sunday's are MS interested in PC gaming. At this point with developers ditching GFWL in droves it is going to take a hell of a lot more than a new AOE, Flight and Fable to save it.

Not a cats chance in hell this is legit, for a starters I cannot see Rockstar releasing the PC version at the same time as the console version. It is just a retailer going "well they will do another GTA sooner or later so lets shove up a pre-order page now".
Yep paying extortionate prices for your games on a console where you pay $10 extra every time you buy a game for your console. I can see what you mean by value for money ............ not. Plus you get a cut down version of the PC version as well.
So PC gamers pay at least $10 less and get more for their money. There is definitely a value for money argument here but I am afraid it is on the side of PC gamers.

The game would have failed on the console too. There really was nothing special about the game. You just need to read the reviews to get an idea of how bland the game actually was.
As M4ndat0ry_1nstall it is always sad to see people laid off, but this could have been avoided if the devs had actually LISTENED to what the Beta players were telling them.
No the update was not a counter measure for the unlimited time patch (the unlimited time patch still works). It appears the update was a newer version of the physx's software.

That depends on what type of gamer you are talking about. If you look at PC gamers they are more than happy to embrace Digital Downloads. I believe that DD accounts for 80% of games sales on the PC now.
I personally prefer DD myself and couldn't see myself buying games any other way.
That is of course your view Traveler but I think you will find you are in a minority. I usually find PC gamers that loved Deus Ex 1 consider the 2nd one to be an abomination as do I. I loved the first one but the second one didn't deserve to carry the deus ex name.
The original Deus Ex started life on the PC and after it was so successful they produced a port for the PS2 (which was pretty crappy). Just because the game got ported to the console doesn't mean it wasn't a PC franchise. After all would you argue that Starcraft isn't a PC franchise because the N64 got a port of Starcraft ?

Ah it is a lot easier for companies to blame things like "piracy" and "PC gaming is dying" than it is to look at their products and think "hm we aren't producing what PC gamers want to buy".
@ jizzyjones I have zero problems with the console platform but there are only so many shooters, hack n slash, beat em ups I can play. I am also not a fan of the joypad and prefer Mouse and keyboard controls. When I play games like Starcraft 2, Stalker, Withcraft, Civilisation etc etc I don't have any need to consider console gaming.
