I couldn't ever really justify dishing out hundreds of dollars for one game, no matter how good it is.

That's part of the reason Blizzard is always going to be popular (other than their obvious development quality). They never strive to push the cutting-edge technology. They always have a broad range in quality settings. WoW, for example, is a pretty good looking game(for its release in 2005) if you turn up the settings, but it can run on crappier computers with low settings. It's a formula you really can't lose with.
You're part of an ever increasing group these days. I've been straying from my PC more and more as well, but I'll never be completely away from it as long as Blizzard keeps making games.
A lot of PC revenue for companies comes in the form of the free ad-based games and games with in-game stores. Sure, there's a lot of gamers on PCs, but a ton of them are little kids playing Maplestory adn such. Steam has a good thing going for it, but consoles are gradually taking over.
Yeah, things like that always seem nice, but people complain about the price enough alreay, eh? I'd pay a little extra for one if I was getting a PS3 personally, but there's always complainers.
Would be cool, but I can't imagine those are very cost efficient for gaming.
The only wired headsets I ever have break are the ones that I run over the wire with my computer chair too much XD
Yeah, I'm usually a fan of wired headsets myself, but this one at least has the advantage of being chargeable. It would suck if it used batteries.

The 360 does have rechargable batteries and a cable that you can get separately. The rest of your points are 100% right, though.

100% agreed man. Titan Quest was the only one that came even relatively close, and it was still far off.
