I plan on getting it once I upgrade my rig. They'd have to tone down the graphics way too much to get it on consoles. This is the kind of game that will steadily sell as hardware gets cheaper, since so many people want it but can't run it yet. Plus, it doesn't have the $60 pricetag that console games tend to keep for far too long.

You're walking on shaky grounds proposing MGS4 on 360 ;)

The PS3 fanboys don't like to hear the possibility of that. I'd like to see it too myself, but as said many times, many part of the game would need to be changed due to direct Sony references and such. Maybe E3 will shed some light on the chances.

It's a friendlier life away from real life. That's why it consumed me until my real life perked up and pulled me away.

Yeah, I've always loved this particular pic as well as the Blizz inspired art style as a whole (and no, not just cus the pic is hot, even though it is).

Well, outside of raiding, there is plenty of stuff to do in the game, so it's not like the casual players are left out. There's a fair amount of level 70 five-man dungeons and plenty of stuff to do pvp-wise.

I can understand why they would want to cater raiding more to the casual player, but after being a hardcore player at one point, I would be against such a move.

Yeah, and it can be a dating game with you playing as Raiden!

Or not.

Iwo Jima Kojima...lmao

Yeah, to me, gameplay is also top priority. As long as graphics aren't total crap, I'm fine with toned down graphics. I'd rather have a quality game that looks decent than an excellent-looking game that just plain sucks. Alone in the Dark anyone?

I'm still waiting for 360 and PS3 fanboys to just get along...

I think people were just too used to the outdated looks of the old games, and this new look is a shock. I'm pretty sure there will be plenty of dark environments in the game. Don't forget how early of a build this is.

I know what it's like to have my life eaten away at by scheduled raid times on WoW. I got myself out of it eventually, but it had already put a nice scar in my life. I don't think they should make raids easier though. I've seen how much work people have put into raids (me being one of them), and it would be a slap in the face to all those raiding faithfuls if they dumbed down raids.

"I also notice that many people took to bashing MS and the 360 simply based on your comment."

Fanboys have to pick at every little detail, don't they?

I don't see how any fatal issues like this current one or the RROD could slip past such large companies. It is indeed inexcusable to have to have to pull/replace something so shortly after release. Sony and MS will most likely both learn from these blunders of theirs.

Seems like it's rare to have problems, but it's not rare enough to call it a fluke I guess. Hope it's not too bad. PS3 has had such a good track record so far. Would suck if a bunch started failing. Xbox fanboys will have ammunition to be stupid with >.<

There is a picture of him holding it after the jump. He looks pretty happy actually.

Comparing GTA IV to the likes of the E.T. disaster. That's just bad.

Typical fanboy talk...

Yeah, they're taking the ideas, but you really can't blame Sony for wanting to give good online features to their loyals.

I always thought the obsession over achievements was silly. All I've ever used them for is doing things such as throwing the cup back in the guard's face at the beginning of Half-Life 2. They point out fun things I'd never think of doing.

Diablo 2 wasn't all that long but people loved it. Why is that? Because there's more leveling to do after you finish it and more loot to grind for. That's going to be the longevity of this game, and it's why he says it's not for everyone.
