I'm not sure if it's always 100% for a body shot. On the gameplay demos, not one area showed 100%, but I'm pretty sure they had a cheat on for bullets to always hit.
A lot of people liked the first one. It wasn't bad at all. It was just horribly overhyped by fanboys wanting a Halo caliber shooter on PS2. Hopefully, the same thing doesn't happen with this one. It looks like it's going in the right direction so far.
Yeah, if you can run, it would be easy, but you've seen how fast the zombies move now. They'll still catch you if you can backpedal at a walking pace. Walking while aiming is a very viable option.
Yeah, the frozen position really takes me out of the believability of the game. I think walking while aiming with a slight sway of the weapon while doing so would do wonders. I'd say keep the sway enough to make a difference but no so much that you can't still headshot, because obviously trained soldiers in real life can continue moving at a reasonable pace and still aim well in CQB. I doubt it would be too hard for them to make the sway just enough to make you stand still for longer-range sh...
Very true, but at least being able to walk while aiming would make a big difference. I think a lot of people would be happy with any movement while aiming.
Not that I think the games are bad (in fact, I love them), but it always annoyed the crap out of me that the games are made harder and more frightening by gimping your character. Strafing anyone? I'll buy it regardless, but I wish they could find a way to incorporate such mechanics as strafing and keep the same feel. Heck, I'd be happy if I could take a single step to either side to go around a corner while facing the correct way instead of slowly turning around the corner.
It wouldn't surprise me if they had a communication hierarchy, preventing you from hearing everyone.
Squad Members -> <- Squad Leader -> <- Commander
Basically what Battlefield 2 did, communication staying inside your squad unless you're a leader.
Lmao, you made my day.
Haha, good point. I don't know of any instant deaths for Samus, but I also haven't played a lot of the newer games. Somebody enlighten me.
Yeah, it's bad when I'm actually anxious to get back to school because so many good games will be coming out then.
Haha, I love the desktop trick. I so have to do that to my parents.
A broken LCD monitor screensaver is always fun too.
The game is very frustrating indeed. If you find yourself overwhelmed with frustration, take an hour, a day, or even a week off the game. I took a few days off the game before I even beat it, and when I came back, I breezed through it. You'll find the game is a lot harder when you're angry and playing recklessly because of it.
Yeah, every boss has certain openings. All you have to do is defend until you see them. They're obvious if you watch another person fight the boss.
Thinking while playing a game? Blasphemy! I refuse to use my brain, period! I must act just like the loud-mouthed 12 year olds on Xbox Live!
Heh, I feel ya bud. Lots of people are anticipating seeing that game. I won't be able to get it if it's PS3 exclusive (which I'm sure it will be), but I'm going to find a way to play it anyway someday. That's one team that defintitely doesn't know the meaning of bad game.
One can only hope. They need to keep pumping out quality games if they want to catch up. They seem on track to start closing the gap at the moment. Only time will tell.
Yeah..they kinda have a big convention there...you know...one better than E3.
Yoda's small stature is finally coming in handy from what this video shows, haha. Looks like he's almost impossible to hit.
lol@15 discs
It's also hard to make the graphics better when they were already just about top of the line.
