If the new Bomberman wasn't labeled Bomberman, he's probably be pretty cool, but they're just ruining a loveable little character by making him big and evil-looking.
It's true that Killzone 2 isn't really doing anything "new", but everything it's doing seems to be very well done so far. That's like saying the current generation of Ninja Gaiden isn't doing anything impressive, because you could jump around slash things up in the original NES Ninja Gaidens!
My latest Game Informer confused me, because it said 8/12. I always heard 8/19 until then. I guess their info was outdated maybe.
All this guy is doing is pointing out problems that people have had. He's not saying the store sucks. Why do people always think pointing out a problem is complaining or bashing something? Yeah, Sony needs to fix things, and user feedback is a great way to point such things out.
I'm sure all the devs will get their just rewards if the game is a success. The sales won't be groundbreaking, but I'm sure in the worst case they'll sell at least 3 million.
The animations may not be perfect, but I think overall, the combat is pretty fresh and exciting. I'm also buying it first day.
It's always nice to see somebody just honestly say that they didn't enjoy a game instead of just saying it plain sucks. I can't stand the people that automatically say a game sucks because they just didn't like it. Bubbles for you for being a reasonable person.
The only thing I could possibly complain about from the demo was the animations. Sure, they're not great, but I think the gameplay, story, and item collection really makes up for it. The controls took some getting used to, but I felt they were very effective once I got the hang of it. I'm personally looking forward to the game, but I've always been a big Diablo buff. The game isn't for everyone, but I think it's going to be a solid RPG overall.
No need for another Orange Box...that's for sure. I think PS3 owners wouldn't complain much if the graphics end up slightly toned down somehow as long as the game isn't broken.
Yeah, that's a good way to put it. MGS4 definitely helped, but it's not the complete driving force behind buying a PS3 for sure. And if it is for some people, well, at least it sold a console.
That's very true, but you have to consider the fact that 360 was out a year longer, and monthly sales should be slowing down as the console ages more, since many people that wanted the system already have it. The only way we're going to know who's going to win this war is to wait. Sony's making up good ground for sure, but it's anybody's guess as to who will come out on top in the end. I'm betting it's going to be darn close.
Also, people that say PS3 has no AAA games are just ...
Yeah, I guess I should have looked at your bubbles, haha. You've surely experienced a lot more fanboyism here than I have.
Yeah, I hear ya. After that big E3 announcement, I'm sure a lot of people are skeptical.
Yup, just more proof that fanboyism is stupid.
Seems like a pretty good reason to me.
Don't feel bad. I wasn't quite sure about what it was for quite a while either after I first heard of it.
ry-guy, that's called fanboyism. Just get used to it if you plan on sticking around N4G for a while. Some people just can't enjoy their console without bashing another.
Why is it that everytime somebody mentions a PS3 exclusive possibly going to the 360, everyone says the author is an idiot? His arguments are completely valid, and he does argue both sides, so stop being so defensive of your PS3.
Yeah, saying PS3 hasn't had games looking as good as 360 games is just stupid. I'm sure the PS3 version will be on par with the 360, or maybe just very slightly lower if they have a little trouble with the development, but I doubt it'll be noticably different.
Personally, I like the newer Snake myself. He looks more like a hardened, bad dude (and not the kind that saves the president from ninjas!). Snake was always cool, but I think the scruffy look fits him better.
