Seriously, a few points doesn't mean crap. Sure, certain things are a little more fuzzy on the PS3, but it doesn't make the game any less playable. Xbox fanboys like to blow things out of proportion, and PS3 fanboys make a big deal like the developers are giving them the shaft.
All I can say is pick this game up regardless of the platform. It IS amazing.
Let's see, the things you're lowering its score for.
Loose FPS Controls - It's not an FPS. It's not intended to have tight FPS controls. Sorry, but no circle strafing on this game.
Crappy 3rd Person View - I'll give you that one, but all of Bethesda's games have been meant to be played in first person. Third person has always just been for seeing what your character is like. I would like the third person to be more playable, though.
Lack of Tutoria...
They're hidden on random cliffs around the map. I'm sure you could find a map of them online.
Edit: I remember there's one across the river from the slaughterhouse safehouse. If you can find that, look across the river. You'll see a road that ends on the map. That's where the glider is.
You won't have any obvious problems unless you realize that they're simply cropping the screen instead of actually having a wider view.
Yeah man, I can't see why anyone would care about a silly dashboard when there's all these good games coming out.
Open zone is thataway ----------->
Wait, why is Left 4 Dead in that mix? It's not an exclusive >.<
Dumb fanboys...
Xbox fanboys have it coming? Some would probably say the same thing about PS3 fanboys the rating down of LBP. Don't act like PS3 fanboys haven't spewed their share of garbage too. Fanboys in general pretty much need kicked in the nuts.
Also, have you ever heard of sarcasm? The open zone is meant for stupid/sarcastic comments.
Yeah, it seems Japan can't be won over. At least the 360 has made up some ground, though. The efforts haven't been completely in vain, but I don't think they'll be passing the PS3 over there.
Seems we simply have a Treyarch hater here. Nobody says you have to play the new mode, or even buy the game for that matter.
Companies just seem slap the limited edition title on stuff to make it seem special these days. Simple words like that make people buy it.
I doubt it'll happen, but I'll get a body bag ready just in case =)
If you think about it, almost every game is just more of the same from its predecessors with improvements. That's just how video games are. Every once in a while you get a truly innovative gem, but most games are just improvements of old formulas.
If the first game is any indication, I think it'll do better than Fable 2.
Yeah, people tend to not think before they speak here. LBP has less story than Gears, but that doesn't mean it's not fun nonetheless. Story is nice, but games can be fun without it.
Clever
Bubbles for doing your research. Just because it has Xbox in its name doesn't mean it's owned by Microsoft.
Nice to see Sega can still do something right after all the Sonic fiascos.
The people that think it will die are probabaly the same type of people that thought DVD would never take over VHS. This happens every time there's a new, more expensive format. Eventually Blu-Ray will be dirt cheap, HDTV will be standard in every home, and people will be saying the next new format will die. It's an endless cycle.
