Actually, there's no proof that all of the other spartans are dead. In the first book, many head down to Reach before it gets glassed, but you never know for certain if they died or not.
Yeah..it's kind of obvious when Halo 3 flashes up on the screen. No need to interpret anything else in the video to tell it's a Halo game.
I just hope we finally get a campaign that can top the first game's.
I wouldn't go so far as to day that Gears has a crappy story. I think there's just a lot they haven't told yet. As for a MGS movie, they better do a darn good job to match the storytelling of the games.
Yes, because every gamer has to live in a basement and faithfully research every little aspect of the console. Clearly, you can't enjoy games without such knowledge...
I'm not saying that a game should be bad and sell millions. I mean that developers should shoot for a game that people will buy and enjoy, not a game that the press will love but doesn't get the sales it deserves, such as Psychonauts. It's a good thing to reach out to a lot of types of gamers.
@1.2 Since when has Fallout 3 come off as a bad game? You don't need to stick to the exact formula of a previous game to make a good sequel. Plus, first/third person, open-world games are...
Will is smart enough to realize that sales are far better than ratings. So many developers fall into the trap that is caring too much about metacritic.
Things like forge and the new weapons were indeed very nice, but the gameplay laid stagnant when many other games (like the Call of Duty series) were evolving. I just think Bungie had the potential to do something much greater with the Halo series.
I bought it, but I've hardly played it at all. I know if I get into it too much, it'll distract me from important things. I tend to get too hooked on action RPGs. I'm probably going to have to wait until I have some time off before I dive into it head first.
Yup, you can pretty much sum up the entire game by saying it's not for everybody. Sure, it's not a perfect game by any means, but if action RPGs are your cup of tea, I'd say it's at least worth checking out.
I'm just hoping they make major renovations to the tired mechanics of the Halo series. The first game was great. Seeing the same stuff with minor additions in the second was bearable. When the third game was the same with more minor additions, the gameplay was just too old to me. I played it quite a bit, but I could never shake the feeling that the mechanics were horribly outdated.
I just hope they finally decide to increase the pace of the game and make it a lot more tactical....
I'd replace Doom 3 with the original, personally. Also, if there was a Halo game in there, I'd make that one the original as well.
I used to think it was a cool idea, but I lost interest somewhere after the 10th delay. I'm sure it'll be a hit when it's finally released, though. Free stuff is always welcome.
Because he does!
And yet, it would still sell millions, haha.
How have you been playing it? Work at a game store?
I haven't played it yet. I'm stuck at work with the game in my backpack next to me =(
It looks like the first Mercs and more, so I'm sure I'll love it.
If it's not, somebody will crack it soon enough. Pirates get what they want eventually.
Yeah, I'm going to buy it this weekend too. I was holding off, because I already had HL2 and Episode 1, so I just borrowed my friend's 360 version to play this. Now, I have a better reason to finally buy it.
The one I can 100% disagree with was Double Dragon 3. That game was balls compared to 1 and 2.
Maybe because it helps if you explain what to look for in the corner?
