3yr old hardware like the 8800gtx maxes out any multiplat game on the pc.
gpus are too powerful now. all you have to do is scroll to max settings and play.
this isnt early 2000 anymore where large leaps in graphics are taking place every other year and new hardware is needed to keep up.
If a 7800gtx on the ps3 can play a certain game, 8800gtx will always out do it and thats a proven fact there isnt one multiplayer game out there the ps3 can run bet...
Dont be deluded by the consoles 300$ price tag. Thats the only thing cheap about it.
Later on consoles are very costly in comparison to PC and perform no where close to the PC.
Yea but the console versions dont compare to the pc and PC is much much cheaper.

I am sure sony would like to create games like super mario bros, low development cost and watch the game race past the 10million mark.
IMO nintendo is surviving on past rep. If anyone else made a game like mario it will be lucky to sell 10% of marios sales.
I used to use the 360 controller on the PC (wired). Later on i tried the ps3 controller, Id say both are good. However i prefer the PS3 controller.
Hence i use motionjoy to wirelessly connect DS3 to PC.
PC's muscle along with DS3 feels like playing adventure games on a super overpowered ps3.
the DS3 is really good, i use it wirelessly with the PC for any adventure game.
its more crippled due to it using a 4yr old gpu.
though BC2 seems awesome.
Where did i say PC software sales are beyond those of consoles? Comparing copies sold is fanboy stuff. Even then the numbers you mentioned are not bad by any standard.
2009 was a very good year for pc gaming i bought 20 games atleast last year. This year seems to be even more loaded.
You cant compare one pc to all consoles combined on a system to system basis PC holds its own very well.

Pc version will support control pad. News flash Ps3 controller can be used on pc as well wirelessly.
Tell us about the Sales charts when they start measuring all the Digital sales. Till then its only relevant for the consoles.
Pc had many exclusives during the last year more then any console. More then the xbox 360 atleast.
While providing a suerior experience at a cheaper cost.
Consoles getting popularity is nothing to be proud of, Consoles getting popularity = consumer freedom being taken away, costly gaming experience, halt in tech.
yep the original beta was stuttering on my gtx 260 as well. now its flawless.
i dont think the ps3 or 360 can play the game like my laptop can. the res and graphics handled by the laptop are just much superior.
good news.. i just tried the game on my laptop which has the following specs:
2.6ghz dual core
gtx 260m (which is equal to a 8800gtx)
4 gigs of ram
the game runs flawlessly @ 1650*1050. though i wanna see what happens when the hi res textures are out in the final game.
PC is the version to get.
Nvm the dx11 version even at dx10 it will make the xbox version look like a last gen game.
