25million of them on steam, and steam doesnt have the entire market to it self. Id say thats a good base even if a good number of those accounts arent buying most of the time.
we havent seen too many dx 11 benchmarks to tell the difference. There was a comparison on tomshardware for dirt 2 running on dx 10 and 11. I didnt read it. Dont really know if the performance takes a hit or gets better.
the game itself was nothing spectacular. IMO they ruined the franchise with this one.
Blizzards games are always top in class.
Warcraft3 still being on top of my rts games list. Their games just dont die. If anyone hasnt played warcraft 3, the story is just epic.
Blizzard is known to cancel games which are complete in development if they do not live up to their standards.

IGP just another way to ruin PC's image as a gaming machine. Intel just can be hopeless at times.
No wonder when the uninformed consumer will be buying a PC with one of these onboard as the gpu it will leave a bad impression of PC as gaming machines.
Though one part of the system i would never compromise on (even on a low budget) is the GPU. Always go for a midrange gpu atleast, nothing will save the systems performan...

my friend who was a hardcore 360 gamer now a pcgamer mostly, converted to pc gaming after he saw mw2 running on pc.
Sure the differences arent much but still the console versions look like a mess compared to the PC version. The differences are much more visible in most games.

dual core is a good cpu, you might wanna have the mhz bumped to about 2.5ghz and as letros said you could go for a 4870 or a gtx 275 both will cost you around 150usd. (4870 being cheaper).
Both of these gpus will play games @ 1080p not a problem, even 2560*1600(thats 3x the current console hd standard) for most games wont be a problem.
over time over few games bought you will recover the money for the gpu.

I dont game on either console. Hence my opinion is not biased toward any of them.
IMO sony does have more 1st party studios, however its quality over quantity. Not saying all microsoft does it quality thats not true either. However when i look at the Sony line up the only games i think people really would like to play are:
Uncharted series
Gow
GT5

i still play warcraft 3(2003 game), if someone was to tell me online support for the game was taken away i would be really dissapointed. Luckily on pc we have many workarounds to host the games via 3rd party softwares even if the developer doesnt like us to be.
This is the reason why PC gaming is so much better.
Console games get controlled by the developer, now that online support for these games has been dropped, ppl will be forced to move on. Buy another game.
I still see ppl playing CS and much older games on the PC. Reason being dedicated servers provided by the community. The games are not killable by the developer.

thats better then the xbox can handle the game. Traveling currently so playing on my laptop. Though sure i would prefer to be playing on my rig at home.
Got the game for 49usd of steam, still a much better deal then the inferior 360version.
Dragonage was GOTY for me last year.
Mass effect 2 seems to be GOTY 2010 or a close contender if starcraft2 shows up.

well consoles moving to DD would be a very bad thing.
At first you have the initial resistance from the retail which is why new games never come to the psn or MS stores. however if this resistance was over come and all console games went DD, IMO it would be a very bad thing for the console user.
