Uncharted/Naughty Dog being Sony-owned really makes much of this article moot. Whether or not Uncharted should be timed exclusive (which is impossible and not worth discussion - not to mention ridiculous in thought seeing that Uncharted is a 4 million+ selling franchise) is bogus anyway. MANY exclusive franchises won't do Uncharted numbers and don't really need them for success (including inFAMOUS & Killzone).

OT: I'm not as hyped for this game as other PS3 exclusives, but I definitely have my eyes on it.

Like the last pointless article, this one seems to not understand KZ2's sales rate in conjunction to Killzone 3's. KZ2 did NOT sell 2 million copies in just over 4 months. The article also opens the door to misinformed folks all around. I'd like to see the expectations for Killzone 3 from those who claimed it flopped.
Since most multi-platform shooters don't do huge numbers anyway (which is a common misconception that they do), it doesn't suck at all. In fact, the games wouldn't be what they are if they were on another system in addition to the PS3.
It's interesting; Killzone 3 is selling faster than Killzone 2 in the same time frame. Here's the best irony, the very source he used has the data right there to prove that. Tell us author, how long did it take KZ2 to hit 2 million (using your source of course)?

Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, ModNation Racers, StarHawk, The Last Guardian, & LittleBIGPlanet are all Sony owned IPs (and Sony owns Naughty Dog, Media Molecule, & Team ICO).
Regardless, no Insomniac does NOT prove exclusives are dead and misleading articles like these are becoming far too plentiful on the site. Sony & Nintendo will always have a HUGE 1st/2nd party dev catalog and next gen won't change any of that.

It's coming to PSN first as a timed exclusive. Other than that, nobody is saying it will never release on anything else.
Indeed it probably will someday, but there's nothing confirmed yet (and that's a two week old article from a fairly low key website). Again, check out the PlayStation Blog link (from today). It's still PSN-only.
