This makes another multiplat where the PS3 has the edge. L.A Noire being the exception, perhaps people are just optimizing on it better of late.
Have you been ignoring the other 8/9/&9.5s deliberately, because if that's "a little poo", I'm inclined to believe you never cared much for the game in the first place.
OT: Review seems a little harsh, but then again, it's not universally agreed upon. from what I see/hear, most love it (as do I)
So you've played both start to finish?
OT: Sounds good, but hardly surprising. Naughty Dog has little trouble delivering!
Agree, agree, agree! She's my favorite in the series, mainly because of her voice actress (who's name is also Heather).
It's exclusive.
OT: Since this is my favorite gaming franchise of all time, it was a buy before any announcement!
Why even bother? It's ridiculous.
OT: Visually, they outdid themselves again! The character models, water, lighting, and environments are top of their class!
How do you know inFAMOUS 2 is inferior to unreleased games? Also, whether or not it is inferior to anything is strictly your opinion. As good as Arkham Asylum was, I found it less enjoyable than inFAMOUS.
To the topic: I agree with the sentiment that a 7.5 isn't bad. However, I sometimes think we get hung up on scores too much. We should do away with numeric reviews altogether, forcing people to actually read the review regardless of the score. Besides, GameSpot is one o...
So happy to have PSN back fully!
That said, this looks like a typical, goofy Sony risking project. I'm just about sold! :D
- inFAMOUS 2
- F.3.A.R. [Xbox 360]
- Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition
How does such nonsense continue to pollute these boards?
darth = hater :P
OT: I wouldn't expect this type of game to sell anywhere close to 8 million, but this result is still a very impressive one (especially given that it's a new IP).
A great as this gen is for me, it doesn't topple my 1st place: 32-bit era (PS1/N64/Saturn).
@ ExgamerLegends: Good catch.
There was no lead version. It was a simultaneous dev process:

Anyway, the game didn't exactly get the most welcoming reviews, but I may check it out once it hits the bargain bin. Truly a shame, I had a ton of hype for this game.
Nobody said Skyrim was crap, but it has nothing to do with the topic. I'm as excited for Skyrim as I am for Uncharted 3, but what you said was unnecessary.
OT: I'm really intrigued by the geographical elements and physics based additions. This may be one of the greatest creations in human existence when it releases!
Who?
So decent that they have the game with the highest amount of GOTY awards under their belt. ;)
OT: I can fully understand how L.A. NOIRE's tech wouldn't work with Uncharted. Two different worlds, scenarios, goals. Both have one thing in common though, they'll extract emotion from the player. I can't wait either way, both titles have the potential to be my personal GOTY!
Disagrees for purchases? Doesn't get much more ridiculous than that.
BRINK & L.A. NOIRE. Both on PS3.
Excellent, excellent piece!
