Eh? I wasn't even aware this game was being made - great news.
Now if they could release while we're all quarantined to help pass the time that'd be great ;)
I'm not sure why people feel the Xbox being more powerful is some kind of game changer. The XB1X didn't turn the tide. The PS3 was more powerful than 360 but that didn't pan out so well either.
It's all about the exclusives (regardless of delayed PC releases) and, to a degree, the single player games, areas where I'm betting Sony will come out on top again.
Yeaaaah.....4K is great, but it can only do so much.
That tank should be in the next Saint's Row, with customisable lettering.
And yet, as a neutral, I'm still betting the bigger, better library of games will be on PS5 ;)
So true and it's amazing how many times journos write this without doing any fact-checking. It's as though they can't imagine a world where Fallout wasn't the first.
Loved W2, I'm confident this game will be even better.
We're self-isolating.
I thought Aloy's character design was good but the different dialogue choices varied to an erratic level in the way they were delivered by Burch. It was as if she thought she was voicing two separate characters, imho, as if Burch thought that people would always choose one type of response (sort of like Renegade or Paragon), rather than mix things up.
It often made Aloy seem like she had some kind of split personality, even within the same conversation.
Given their track record, I'm not sure why the article uses phrasing that implies there's doubt to Sony's ability in this area.
'Apparently going to focus'? They already do focus on sp quite a bit. Their exclusives this gen alone show that.
'Really need it to succeed'? They already have success, success that is on-going too. Nioh 2 just released with TLOU2 and Ghosts still to come.
Yeah, I'm a bit disappointed by this level cap too. I was hoping more like 15.
I'd even prefer it if they could have started characters off at a higher level, in order to reach the the good stuff, spells, skills, monsters and loot, etc, like they did in BG 2.
Maybe they're are saving levels 11-20 for the sequel.
A: 1, 2, 3.
B: 2, 4
Really enjoyed Kingmaker a great deal. Scratched my (A)D&D itch in a way that hasn't been done since the Baldur's Gate/Icewind Dale series.
Best of luck to the devs.
Yeah, Death Stranding releasing so soon looks odd but Kojima (way back in late 2015/early 2016) had already said it was important to him to see his next game on PC before Sony even stepped in to help fund/get console exclusivity with DS.
I'm guessing releasing on PC 6 months after will be the exception (imo, it'll be 1 year minimum but probably more like 2-3) rather than the rule and I think you're right about simultaneous launches.
@AmUnRa
Lol, what?
I'm not having a go at you mate, I'm agreeing with your sarcasm!
And yeah, it is sarcasm so I don't think you are in a position to talk about whether someone understands irony, heh. Not to mention that not having understood that I was agreeing with you in the first place lends to the notion that reading comprehension obviously isn't your forte.....but nevermind :)
I was simply, and...
Eh? What happened to spending more time with family?
Either they offered him a ton of cash he couldn't resist or his kids aren't as much fun to be around as he was hoping ;)
You know what? Bloodbourne is actually a great title to come to PC as the demanding gameplay would feel even better and more responsive at 60+ fps.
"More than 100 million people will not buy a Sony console ever."
Haha, yeah, the upset does seem pretty silly when you point out a statistic like that.
Which is funny considering how some companies seemingly treat PC gamers like dirt because of, gasp!, piracy.
Yeah, I agree.
The two main reasons kinda conflict. They said they wanted to make shorter episodes based on the tech they got to know so well during development of HL2, so that there'd be a faster turn-around, but then they say they wanted to push the boundaries in Episode 3 and needed more time. This in turn conflicts with the following;
They wanted episodic so that they didn't have to re-invent the wheel but then they say they couldn't mak...
