Also, if you're interested, the PC HD version has a better alternate control method. Still not today's standards but better than the default :)
Yeah, I'd prefer a RE4 remaster and a Code Veronica remake, one done to the high standards of the RE2R.

I find it hard to imagine they'll change the perspective so I'm not sure what other kind of massive changes they could make that would constitute a 'remake'. Not unless they change many of the areas and levels, but then why do that when it's such a classic?

You had to play it back in 2005, on Gamecube, though I played the HD version last year in preparation ffor RE2 and still thought it was great.
It was adored by critics and players alike and highly influential for many franchises that followed. It also remains the highest scoring RE title (96) on metacritic. Mikami is a master, imho.

Yeah...I'm not sure this info is still current but I read recently that Steam said there were over 1.5 million headsets in use, though it didn't include those headsets that weren't plugged in during the time of data collection.
The next survey will have a way of knowing if a headset has been present and in use multiple times, even if it's not connected at the moment the info is uploaded, so the true number is probably even greater.

I agree and it's the only thing that gives me doubts about the game. I don't want my time in the post-apocalyptic world of TLoU to feel like I'm being preached to with cringe worthy creative decisions that sacrifice the authenticity just promote a message. The Witcher 3 is an example of a good looking game with low res bits here and there.

Interesting. I'm wondering if this is their way of introducing alien and human protagonists for XCOM 3.
Also, the brief cityscape/map I saw reminded me of XCOM Apocalypse, so that might be the equivalent of the geoscape for the sequel if they're taking that route.
