A.I took a pretty big hit from the dumb-downing in Crysis 2.
What? you mean the so called real time "reflections" that only reflect objects within 1 meter away from the reflective surfaces?
How about real time reflections this time? Like the kind they already have in older games like half life 2 and bioshock? It's something that developers ignore in favor of fake ones with cube maps in almost all of the more recent games besides racing games.
I'd gladly give up the "cinematic" disco nightclub light show for properly realistic graphics.
now with ak-47s, ironsights, killstreaks, xp unlocks for more guns etc
I agree
WOW! ALL THE WAY up to 4v4!! Incredible!!!!!!
There is one easy solution to this problem: the ability to make or choose which game to join like the good old days.
So far we still haven't gotten a good driving game yet.
DO NOT put your vita in that crystal case!!!!!!!!!!!. It WILL scuff up your vita. the inevitable couple of specks of dust that will get in will speed up that process real fast too. If you are getting a case, I suggest one with a soft interior, preferably fabric.
stiffer analogs
having it the same form factor as the go wouldn't work very well. some of the uses for the back touch panel is meant to immerse the player by having it line up with the front screen, like in little deviants where you sometimes "pinch" the landscape with both the front and touch. this gesture wouldn't make sense if the touch panels didn't line up would it?
i doubt the 5 inch oled touch screen which is already pretty expensive has the framerate for shutter 3d
I don't have a vita and its pretty relevant to me. I'm seriously considering getting a vita, but its also a serious investment for me so I wanna know as much as there is to possibly know about the vita before I get one.
Not gonna happen. a single vita-sized screen is already pretty expensive. 3DS's 3d tech will require twice the amount of columns of pixels. It'll be like having to make 2 OLED screens. The price to produce this kinda screen would be exponential. Imagine having to produce two OLED(expensive) screens and on top of that pack all those extra pixels needed for 3D back into a regular aspect ratio on a screen tech that's already packing a pretty night pixel density.
Idk what SR3 youve been playing but it plays fine on my HD5850 on max settings everything.
how about true Co-op? sick and tired of these so called "coop" games that just encourage ppl to run in and compete to get more kills than the others. There needs to be a modern game that truly encourage cooperation by making the players rely on each other. There used to be some games out there that does this well, but those days are long gone.
My HD5850 runs BF3 at max settings except the faux AA (FXAA which works for me as I don't gaze at pixels) @ 1920x1200. I still see no real big reason to upgrade. Games wont come out to look like Pixar movies anytime soon anyway, probably not until the next console generation.
@VDKok
HD5850 here. Runs BF3 butter smooth at max graphics with the exception of the faux AA (FXAA which looks find anyway)at 1920x1200. Still see no big reason to upgrade yet.
I don't think I've heard of a "Pixal." "Pixar" though sounds more familiar.
More like they shouldn't make games that emulate smart phone games.
