Why don't people get it? You don't buy a PC just to play games; you buy a PC because you NEED one. And if you invest a couple of hundreds of dollars more in a PC that you need anyway you get a PC that happens to play a ton of games very well.

It works for halo because its vehicles are fictional. Meaning they can make the entry procedure as simple as they like. Mounting on a real life vehicle especially military gets A LOT more complicated. You need a ladder to climb onto a jet for example. Also you gotta pump half a magazine into somebody to get a kill in halo so the rather brief boarding animations really aren't a threat.
L.A. Noire cheats. All they did was scan actors' faces. A lot more work is required when you have to model faces from pure imagination and animating them by hand.

Next gen consoles may offer more value now than PC, but the thing with the console is, you're stuck with the same hardware specs for the rest of its life-cycle.
What a lame excuse. Some sports undergo changes EVERY YEAR. Look at F1 for example.
IDK what you're on. BF4 is looking to be a massive improvement over BF3 in terms of gameplay. BF3 feels like a prototype to BF4 actually.
