If the controls were tweaked to make a bit more sense it would be.
great. always wanted to goto the moon. or the sun. that'd be my way to go.
Probably not. These kinda "handheld-exclusive" games almost always get outsourced to lesser studios.
They're assuming gamers this gen are so lazy they can't even be bothered to check the map on the wrist PDA anymore. That's why they plastered the walls with instructions in Conviction. That's even more condescending than CoD/BF with the waypoint markers.
You really shouldn't look at the two games in the same light.
Lol they aren't my ancestors so I'm good. And if anybody's upset they should be upset over the fact that the British are getting killed too because they're are also ancestors if they look back far enough.
And by that logic we've been killing our relatives the whole time if we look back even further.
I don't think the women have any problems with the industry. It' just been over-sensitive men so far.
Maybe Sony got the F1 license back from Codemasters and now their making F1 game?
It's not like you can stick the gamecard into any other platform and play it. So in that sense, the product is "Only on Playstation."
Plus, it's not even a sentence, so no argument can be made on what the statement actually refers to.
Built my PC back in around 2009 for $800 and havn't upgraded since. You just have to know what to focus on when you're building a PC. Plus it's a PC so I need one anyway. Runs BF3 maxed out smoothly without overclocking.
You don't have to be "top of the game" to run all the latest games.
What's wrong with that? Seeing as how both of these games were console games to begin with. That being said I think the game deserves a higher score.
"High Definition" = High clarity in general. It can refer to the clarity of anything from audio to texture. If a game were to run in the Vita screen's native resolution, you can bet your a$$ it's clear.
Actually we did pay for the people to make the software. It's a part of the $250 - $300 each of us had to pay when we got the system.
It's just a title. They're not going to call it Metal Gear Solid qHD Collection. "High Definition" doesn't just apply to resolution you know. It applies to clarity in general, meaning audio, textures, etc. Plus they did make it clear what resolution the game would be running in on the back of the box.
So you'd rather unlock trophies rather than to unlock stuff like silly character models, extra levels, weapons, model viewers, equipment, cheats, abilities, attire, music, concept art, behind the scenes material, etc, the stuff we used to look at for replay value before trophies?
Yes but you seem to suggest that console ports are more numerous than the exclusive games when in reality, it's the console ports that are actually few and far between compared with exclusives on the device currently.
Honestly, I think trophies/achievements are starting to replace more substantial rewards. We used to unlock stuff like silly character models, extra levels, weapons, model viewers, equipment, cheats, abilities, attire, music, concept art, behind the scenes material, etc. Now instead of spending time putting these in for replay value, developers are pointing at achievements/trophies. Seriously poor excuse for replay value.
I think the Vita has plenty of exclusive game. There's nothing wrong with a couple of "ports" here and there. I'd like to think of them more as "multipaltform"
Most of the time when a big name franchise is to get a "handheld exclusive" it's outsourced to lesser studios who only try to imitate the style of the main games. They're only there to "compliment" the console releases. They tend to give me a cheap knockoff feel. ...
An what if I don't have a PS3?
I understand what you're feeling. It was weird for me to go from Splinter Cell to MGS as well. The stealth felt a lot less close and personal. You can't go switching off lights and sneak around in pitch dark 2 feet away from people. But when I gave it more time, I realize it's actually a different "flavor" of stealth. Give it more time. You'll find its charm.
