I tried that boost trick in BF3...didn't work :(
You said it yourself. "Prior to the release date." You're preordering something if you bought something "prior to the release date." Don't comment on something when some of your wires are short.
Game devs are forgetting what light and contrast look like in real life/cinema
You didn't pay attention. It's to combat the people who didn't pre-order the game.
We'll see when we get our ME faction and ME guns(which are mostly russian anyway) and the Chinese faction and their Chinese guns then I'll believe them.
You don't remember how you got these for free in BF2 do you? CoD is influencing and ruining everything
Having some trouble remembering the times when you didn't have to constantly follow a marker and follow precisely the instructions given to you by a tightly scripted commanding officer. The SP experience in BF3 was IMHO spectacular but by golly was it the most linear and scripted game I have ever played!
Devs last gen: we've put in blur and bloom in our games. This is the next generation!
DICE: Now we've put in even more blur and even more bloom and blind you when someone shine a light on you from 50 meters away and we even added a ton of smudges on your visor so you can't see anything! This is next gen!
Seriously, I thought we were over this.
Guess you missed the 64 players part.
-_- they had the f-35 in BF2. Yes you can vertical take off and land in BF2 with it.
Wow 4 things checked off the checklist already in the 1st 2 mins: prison break, slow-mo window/door breach, quicktime melee fight and quick time climbing around. YAYAH!
That's because CoD actually REQUIRES you to play with Steam on PC.
It's almost the only game today that still uses pre-baked shadows.
It may look better and has more players on PC, but the mechanics are largely the same. You just can't shoehorn BF2 mechanics onto a console.
Yea. you had to climb all the way up to the commander's bridge though. You could also sink them with like 20 torpedoes to slow down enemy spawn and cripple air superiority.
Damn!!!! I read that as "Bots confirmed..."
We could drive battleships, aircraft carriers and submarines in Battlefield 1942.
whatabout supply drops? and command markers?
What about for the extreme, ultra, and maximum settings?
You can't take all the blame away from DICE however. It's partly their fault for including one at all. I would've been more than happy with offline bot practice instead of their idea of a singleplayer campaign now.
