Yep when I was a kid and the internet still wasn't in the publics hands I would wait for the postal truck everyday for my game magazines like Nintendo Power. The good old days.
We all love the internet super highway interweb but even as useful as it is I think it may eventually do more harm than good, before we even realize it.
Hah yeah EDF was a total stinker but it still managed to be really fun.
Maybe it's because I'm only about half way through it and have yet to encounter a single bug but I really don't see how this has been getting all the sub-9 ratings.
I've loved every minute of it from story to gameplay to art design - and the loot system is great especially when you factor in the customizable possessed weapons.
Masturbation ftw.
That's awesome. I used to love the old (NON 3D) lemmings games. Can't wait!
I did my best to make sure I had a top-of-the-line pc but there are so many companies (understandably so thanks to profits) that dumb down the graphics to make their games work for consoles (more owners) than it does hurt when u play a pc turd game that could look so much better on a pc (Dark Souls).
Nope its reat but when it comes down to my personal preference there were only a few had-to-have games. There are plenty of ps3/360 games that scored 90+ that were not "had-to-haves" for me. Being a "vet" can make you very jaded. There's my reasoning.
I kept my Wii for as long as I did specifically for the Mario's, metroid and skyward sword. The Mario's kept the dream alive for me but Metroid and even Zelda let me down and this is coming from someone who grew up with those series since the originals hit the NES and loved them. I sold the Wii before even finishing Zelda.
I'm now a former longtime Nintendo fan simply because of the Wii. I really think it's rooted in my hate for the wiimote n nunchuks if that ...
Yeah I'd have to agree with BelieveinGhosts. I don't see this game having any vs. MP but maybe coop - seems much more fitting given the setting.
I'm not 100% sure but I think it was or still is a comic book series.
I'm just now getting around to playing episode 1 and in the middle of it. Love it.
I can understand the casual and other players enjoying cod but not people that have been playing fps for over a decade. The massive love for Gears of War though I just don't get. The first one was cool enough but honestly after that it was just more of the same - imo very undeserving of the massive fanbase.
You'd be smart too (assuming the sequel didn't suck) because the original was great. One of my longtime most memorable rpgs easily.
The free to play stuff always worries me with the nickel n diming possibility but it does sound really interesting and sounds like they've borrowed and altered (in a good way) some ideas from other games like dark souls.
As much as we hardcore gamers snicker at casual gamers tictac261 has a point about it possibly converting the new casual gamers into "we the hardcore" which is great for the industry.
Yep I love turn-based. My brain is too slow to process rts.
I really do hope this turns out good after it being so long since we've had a new splinter cell. I can't wait for the return of spies vs. Mecs. That was some of the most unique mp I've ever played. Good fun.
A 5/10?? And here I thought this game would easily dethrone Batman Akham City.
Beautiful is an understatement to say the least. But yes, absolutely beautiful.
And lol at the top secret toad tesselation.
I have to totally agree. In my opinion that has to be one of the most mediocre Mario titles of all time. The water jet mechanic it relied on just wasn't fun at all to me.
