I loved it. The sequel sucked in comparison because it got rid of the whole city building portion which is what made the first one so unique.
He may have skipped his English classes in school.
I'm pretty sure anyone even bothering to read this (I even surprised myself) will hate our comments but I agree with you. Lost Planet was a turd that I originally had hopes for and Lost Planet 2 was a sequel to a turd.
Japan was easily the pioneering force behind games for the longest time and I always felt like western games were weak in comparison but I personally think the tables have turned over the past few years.
It's time for Japan to make...
I concede. I was looking at it from my phone and didn't see the zig zag which I admit is a total copy and paste. (slapping myself in the face repeatedly for being an idiot)
@r04k213
I did read the article and looked at the images and I don't see any copy n pasting as you put it. The style is extremely similar but it is still not a copy and paste of any of ollys work.
When darksiders came out people said they stole the art design from world of war craft but what the idiots didn't know was that the comic book artist had that style 10 years before world of war craft even came out.
Out of the billions of peo...
Yep I agree. As an artist I would guarantee Olly wasn't the first artist in the history of art to do something like that.
All ideas are born from other's ideas.
Yep both of those are on my to-do list.
Yeh that's what it sounds like to me and I'm all for being dark souls in that way.
I agree with you but it may be an indefinite wait. They have to pay the bills somehow since Final Fantasy (their bread and butter) has completely gone down the toilet.
Excellent game. This and the Walking Dead are easily the best downloadable games this year to me.
The first and probably last mediocre/bad review we'll see given the amount of extremely positive reviews. Maybe the reviewer is more into games like angry birds.
Whether Cliffy B makes a good point or not he basically just says things to get the spotlight on himself. He loves the attention like a neglected 6 year old boy. Look up his rap star phase for reference.
Sorry I just wanted to insult him. Totally unrelated to the subject.
I would really LOVE to see a full-fledged-great-developer made Mega Man game. Mega Man was easily one of my favorite franchises in the NES days.
The best thing about exclusives is that the game is made in mind exclusively with one systems limitations and strengths thereby getting optimal results in a technical sense.
The first bayonetta is a perfect example of what can wrong with a multiplatform game. They made it based off of the 360 hardware and the ps3 version was like an afterthought and suffered because of it.
I'm definitely not saying they're shouldn't be multiplatform games (obvious...
I'm right at the end and I love it. If you like stealth then it's an absolute must have.
@Aceman18
I should amend my statement. See guitarded777's post right before mine. He chose his wording much better than I did. What he says is what I was really trying to get across.
I should have said any hardcore gamer would eventually try owning each console (not necessarily at launch) given that whatever the console it is has at least 1 or 2 must-haves and the gamer doesn't break his/her wallet in the process.
I have to admit I am...
IMO if you are a true hard core gamer and not just a fan boy of a particular system then you'll buy the wii u at launch - I've pre-ordered it but after the wii I know exactly what to expect.
The way I see it true hard core gamers buy every single console as I've always done no matter which company I'm currently favoring - right now I'm favoring ps3 but not too long ago I was favoring the Xbox and yet I'm still buying the wii u. Every console at the ve...
@Chrisgay
Oh crap you're right. That sucks...
Funny I casually got mine at GameStop yesterday, no waiting outside or anything crazy and the sales rep said I was the only person at the time that had even pre-ordered it.
Now I just have to actually get excited about it. Tough to when ZombiU n Pikmin are really the only games I'm caring about as far as launch titles go.
I have to totally agree on the modding comment. Modding is what leads to some of the best gameplay in the pc scene.
It gives people with great ideas but missed opportunities the chance to show great and new ideas, Counter-Strike just being one of many examples.
