Anyone tried the mouse and keyboard support yet? I bought it but I'm still going through transformers and the walking dead ep 3 so I haven't touched it yet.
I may be a core-gamer as opposed to a casual gamer but I sure would like to finally see a sequel to Plants vs. Zombies.
I think it's difficult for Hideo to do wrong. I'm super excited about the open world change and that's even with me seeing the Metal Gear Solid series as probably my favorite series of all time.
I actually saw the first game as a (very defendable) 8 but I see the second game as an easy 9.5.

First off PLENTY of games on 360 and ps3 do 720p so implying otherwise is just ignornance. Second, you label it a fact that the WiiU can do 1080p. Sony said the same thing about the ps3 but in reality only a handful of titles (mostly 2D) have ever hit 1080p so what leads you to believe Nintendo will pull off any more titles in 1080p than the current systems?
I really think Nintendo is holding back the system specs because it will show how small of a step it is above the ps3 and 360 - PS3 being the most recent next gen console which launched 6 years go.
From what little we know about the WiiU it sounds like it isn't much more powerful (if at all) than the ps3 or 360 which already have been around quite a long time.
They know if they release the system specs they will lose plenty of core gamers if it doesn'...
I would love for Mega Man to make a return that does the original NES and Super NES titles justice.
Those were some of my favorite games back then.
Not to take away anything from the admittedly awesome pc gaming community, but you could put dark souls on the original puke-yellow-and-black game boy and it would still turn out great.
Yep I have to agree with iamnsuperman. There honestly hasnt been enough buzz built up or details released compared to most console launches.

I'm not disagreeing just to disagree but I really like the first one more than most people it seems but I really do love the second one more.
I actually love the leveling, loot, story, gameplay and music more than the first.
Everything from the first was good but that and all the new stuff in the second are just great imo but I know it's just a matter of taste so I respect your opinion :-)
I haven't played dark souls since the pre-major changes via patches era but I think it'll be nice to get back into and have to roll a new build (like Rainbow-Dash mentions) and check out the dlc.

Yeh while I'm not tired of zombie games I definitely agree with you that they should be kept out of games that aren't strictly focused on zombies as a part of their story - like you mentioned titles like Red Dead Redemption and Call of Duty.
It's just way too forced in games like those.
I'm still playing Darksiders 2 but this one is definitely next on my list.
I'm glad non-console players got to play this game finally but it and the pc gamers deserve better than this awful port. It's really an insult to how good the game actually is.

Jaggies or not I really do hope it turns out to be fun considering the potential. I've dreamt of a zombie mmo fps since left 4 dead.
I think I'm one of those people that will never tire of zombie rated stuff despite the current oveoad.
