I signed up months ago and despite also being a planetside 1 player (which supposedly takes precedence) I still haven't gotten into the beta. Looks great and hurts my heart not being able to play it!
I quit caring about strictly racing games ever since the first burnout game.
Im sure I'm leaving out some other deserving games but I think the Metal Gear Solid series easily has the most memorable boss battles and it's because they took the time to let you hear of and get to know each boss before you fought them. Bioshock took a similar approach and did pretty well although the bosses weren't quite as memorable.
Ha great counter-point to my point.
Hahaha I don't remember that but I do remember having the powerglove and it was a real turd with only one game worth playing.
Itll never happen but maybe if Gamestop gave devs even a small fraction of used-game sales that would be a good start.
Has anyone received a confirmation email saying they were accepted? I applied months ago and former planetside 1 players supposedly take precedence but havent heard anything yet.
That screen shot alone has turd written all over it. What you mentioned is the same reason I quit watching the show.
Their statistical stuff is cool in the show but when they show the cornball fight at the end and the fight is always won do to some total fluke it really makes a joke out of their decent statistical data. What you described summarizes the show perfectly.
I'd say absolutely. No doubt the second one will be better than the 1st but it was still good. I felt the ending was actually (goosebumps) great and ties into the 2nd game.
@Spenok
"One persons favorite game will be someone else's most hated and vice versa."
I couldn't have said it better myself. My llongtime best friend generally agrees on most games but sometimes our opinions are at polar opposites.
I really liked Darksiders but for him it had too many puzzles.
Im ready for this one. First one was good and I have a feeling this one may be great.
I played the beta for about a week. Seems like it has a lot of potentional especially as far as character progression goes but the weak point for me that made me lose interest was unfortunately the combat.
The shooting and movement just feels uncomfortable to me (and of course that can change since it's still in beta) - but as a fps vet who's played the best and the worst as far back as doom the gameplay never really felt right too me even after giving it a weeks wort...
Yep you said it best, first one for me easily qualified as a "good" game at the very least.
I think the devs were still getting their footing during the first one and the second will only be better.
I didn't read the article but the picture had me at hello.
I pity da foo!
I hate to say it but I havent really liked/loved a Sonic game since genesis/sega cd.
Sonic on Dreamcast was okay at best but they've only gotten worse (imo) with each new game.
The latest attempt at bringing it back in 2-D gameplay just didn't bring back the same magic the originals had for me at least. Then again I'm old as hell.
Yep I miss split-screen goodness. Nothing like beating up your friend in real life when they have just beat you in a game.
Too bad there's less and less games with split-screen now. Split-Screen, you will be missed.
After owning the wii and kinect, I honestly dont think anything will be more effective than something you as digital/specific as a typical controller or mouse & keyboard until they perfect mind-reading technology. Wii controller, PS move, and kinect are good with party games at best.
So maybe 10-15 years.
I may actually dust off my turd of a kinect to try this.
Yeh its amazing, I would LOVE to tell comcast to go take a dump on themselves. Bring it on Google!
Beautiful is an understatement to say the least. But yes, absolutely beautiful.
And lol at the top secret toad tesselation.
