The research must have been done exclusively on people that are heavily involved in their church. (Sarcasm)
I only mention that because I once had a friend who came from a VERY religious family and his mother wouldn't allow him to play any games that had monsters in them because they "represented the devil and his demons".
@pulsuhundur is right - I know for certain at least gtaiv had cell phone numbers you could input to change the weather. The author apparently has a bad memory (and mine is horrible) or never played gtaiv.
The only difference in what the author mentions and what was already in gta is rising waters from rain accumulation. That would be cool but something like that as he mentions is probably unlikely, this gen at least.
I <3 Forge.
Stuff like this is why I'm still on the fence about buying D3. I want to play it but it seems like everyone likes it at first and then it turns into sucksville later.
Its for people that have some creativity in their blood. I would personally never classify it as a game. You should give it a try if you have a decent imagination.
Yeh it looks really nice for this gen but I would think and hope next gen looks better than that.
Yeh, I'll give ya that at least - though that's not saying much :)
Finally forced myself to finish it last night. Its fun at times but overall it felt either unfinished/unpolished or the dev beenox just didn't have any passion making it.
It's basically a turd that wasn't fully pushed out.
Yep I think back to when the Sega Genesis almost had VR. I wanted it so bad. Look any direction and what you are seeing mimics your head movement. Perfect for a variety of games combined with using a mouse/controller. FPS, driving, simulators - would be awesome.
Ive been out of the pc gaming scene since right after the first crysis but now with a new more-than-capable pc Im dying for Planetside 2. Loved the first one. Yay for pc!
Just upgraded my computer and wanted to get this but Ive heard so many bad things lately about it. Anyone recommend it?
Anyone here played this? I'm interested but still on the fence about a purchase. I know it's not portal but as long as it has fun puzzles Im sure I'd like it.
Virtual Reality. Ever since the Sega Genesis almost had VR Ive wanted it to be a part of consoles.
I know it prolly wont ever happen but Id take that over gimmicky 3D any day.
LOVED Omikron. It really left a lasting memory on me, like I had really been in another world for a while. Awesome game.
They definitely lost me at "regenerative health". That alone throws out so many game mechanics that are what resident evil has always been about.
"Survival Horror" is now "Hide for a few seconds and everything will be just peachy".
Its pretty fun but I personally think its only like batman in the sandbox-game checkbox sense. It feels kinda soulless to me like the dev was just doing a job that had to be done.
Its still fairly fun to me but totally forgettable. It just feels like its missing the kind of passion that was put into Batman, and apparently talent as well.
The first one was great. I havent upgraded/replaced my pc in 5 years but I am for this game =D
Its not "Amazing" but its definitely better than a 4.5.
"represents a good value for your money" but they only gave it a 5/10?
