I couldn't get into it - went right back to dragons dogma. Besides the fact that its one of the worst looking unreal engine games Ive ever seen I just didnt enjoy the gameplay at all. Im sure the combat gets deep (for a 4hr game) but it just feels like a run of the mill button-mashing beat-em-up to me.
Journey 2, but this time itll be a fps with guns. Cant wait!

Thats the same set of feelings I have about it. Its great looking and its real-time but its not real time on an actual console, and right now we as the gamers at least dont even know if next gen systems will even be able to run something like that. That to me just means right now its just another pretty square cg cinematic, like they have always been known for.
Im hoping they already know something we dont or even have their hands on the next gen consoles and already know its...
The game reeks of low production values but it absolutely delivers where it counts most which is FUN.
The ability to change from a variety of classes whenever you feel like it and carry over augments to enhance your preferred class makes the addiction and fun go on forever.
In terms of exploration it also puts Skyrim (with its all too similar multitude of dungeons) and very linear exploration in Witcher to shame, and those games of course scored high marks ac...
MAN yeh I loooved spies vs. Mercs. Was so disappointed when the follow-up splinter cell didn't have it. That was easily some of the most fun I had ever had in a mp game. It was so different than the usual fps vs fps. So glad they're bringing it back.
Yeh I should have added how impressed how Assassins Creed is turning out. The environment change looks to make for some fresh new gameplay in the series. And the ship battles?? That was AWESOME and unexpected.
And yes Far Cry 3 looked great too. Looking forward to the open approach of the first Far Cry, and of course the scenery... And no Malaria :)

Yep watchdogs was easily one of the most unexpectedly cool things at the show. After I saw the unique gameplay possibilities I was sold. Sort of reminded me, strictly in the vibe kind of way, like Deus Ex - the original Deus Ex.
I think reggie doing the zombie face thing made me so uncomfortable watching a man's dignity disappear before my very eyes even more than the book of spells at the sony conference.
Halo graphically looked great but the gameplay shown (while im sure the whole game will have varied gameplay) was totally underwhelming. Ive shot little badguys in so many fps now. Wish they had shown something a little more unique than the usual cannon fodder.
Watch Dogs was an awesome surprise. Looks to have nice new game ideas. Last of Us looked great, and you cant forget Beyond... Awesome stuff. Im glad we finally got to see good ol Splinter Cell too, too bad no Ironside though.
*spoiler* This one will have huge sweaty men as the main characters.
Its not "Amazing" but its definitely better than a 4.5.
