Jaggies or not I really do hope it turns out to be fun considering the potential. I've dreamt of a zombie mmo fps since left 4 dead.
I think I'm one of those people that will never tire of zombie rated stuff despite the current oveoad.
I'd like to buy a vita because it's a sexy lil handheld but it's future looks very questionable to me.
Ohhhhh lil Ziggy.
I could just Google it but would rather ask someone on here to get a discussion going heh... how many years will NP have been running since it's first issue?
Those were my monthly highlights as a kid. Seeing all the previews and the coming soon list made my small nerd heart thump like crazy.
I'm not saying I'm in the beta or anything because there's obviously an NDA but I agree with you 100%.
Yep and those silly scientists thought it would be global warming that would make the world go "poof".
Just be careful.... Bored and curious can lead to some life-altering major regrets. I still hear the moans of that sheep when I go to bed at night. Damned vodka...
@Taz sorry If I implied enthusiasm which really wasn't intended but I would just hope super dmc fans would give it a chance at least.
Heavenly sword (one of the few decent ps3 games) and Enslaved were both worth-playing but not fantastic games but nevertheless worth playing.
I saw dmc1 as an absolute classic but the follow ups never quite got me like the 1st game.
I agree and hope the hardest of hard core dmc fans at least really give it a shot.
Ninja Theory isn't the best dev out there but they manage to pull of some worth-playing games.
I played the Metroid Prime games on the Gamecube and loved them. I honestly feel like Skyward Sword would have been better using the more conventional controllers like ps3, 360, and yes gamecube.
The only reason certain parts of skyward sword even existed is because Nintendo's own in-house developers were forced to create game play that highlighted use of the wiimote's. The roller coaster level and bird flight are just 2 examples of what I'm referring to.

@tentonsoftube - I'm with you on this. When I buy a new console I'm not looking for a sub-par experience.
Why all of the disagrees @tentonsoftube? If you want a cheap and affordable gaming experience you can stick to the casual phone games, which can admittedly be very fun.
I'll prolly get the system for the heck of it but a real system seller for me would be a new Metroid - like the originals or like the surprise Retro pulled off with the Primes - but not like the recent Metroid. Decent but not nearly as good as any other Metroid game.
@janitor - you are correct. I suck with a controller playing a fps compared to using mouse and keyboard - and I always look for only the best unfair advantages.
@fullmetaltech - bummer. Looks like it'll be a level playing field heh.
Same here. I love the walking dead but just because I haven't like telltale other games I didn't get it until it was free - and now I can say that I love it.
I played the original on pc possibly more than any other mp fps ever. I'm definitely getting this on console instead of pc just because of the mouse and keyboard support.
I can't wait to play it against the controller users ;-)
It sounds to me that they're questioning of the wiimote's worth means they didn't exactly like developing for the first wii because of the wiimotes. That's reason enough to wonder why Nintendo is even making the wiimotes usable for the wiiu other than to disguise that the wiimotes aren't that great on their own or even with the nunchuks.
I actually enjoyed red steel but could never really get into it for extended periods because the wiimotes just don't...
@kesvlk
Mario advanced from 2D to 3D with massive innovation that really set the stage for many many MANY future platformers. Sonic failed miserably compared to Mario's transistion.
Your argument only underlines that Mario needs to make a change again since it was so successful with its previous advancement. The Mario Galaxy titles were great but the motion controls were far from an actual evolution of the Mario series.
Maybe we just aren...
I think vr headsets are logically the true next major step in interaction - Motion controls being the gap that doesn't quite cut it on its own.
VR tricks your brain enough into actually being in the world you see so much so that it's actually "jarring" for some people.
I would without a doubt buy whatever console came out with it first or buy Carmack's Oculus when it hits consumer-level.
Yeh I don't know if I have ever gone through a game and beaten it as many times as I did Super Mario World - Mario 3 being the closest competitor. Too bad I'm too old and worn out on Mario games now though.
I really think Mario needs a serious advancement in its formula. "If it ain't broke then don't fix it" can only work for so long.
Ehh?
