They definitely could've done wonders with that extra RAM, I think that lack of memory was the main reason that the ICO team couldn't deliver the last guardian on the PS3, they had the computational power they needed but with the physics, A.I calculations and the visuals they were aiming at lead them to hit a brick wall. But I guess that price for memory was a concern at the early days of the consoles, especially for PS3 as it had half XDR memory and half DDR.
Last gen with 1 Gig of Ram?! That would've been cool as hell! Well, at least I don't have to wonder about that scenario as the Wii U is kind of a 7th gen console with some vitamins, a good example of what the twins could've done with some extra RAM.
Why? I don't see it as a way to shame the original version, I see it as a way to show how much the game might improve by modern efforts.
I hope this inspire the publisher (Sony) to greenlight a remastered PS4 version as the game still has a following, I would love to play it again on my PS4 as my PS3 died last year the online features of DeS will probably be shut down this year.
If I have to play the game without it's online features, it'll pr...
It was and oddjob from the start XD
Currently @Venezuela, my country has gone mad; I'll always be grateful to god for the digital option, I can bypass a lot of expenses buying directly from psn and I always try to buy my games on sale, my net speed is 6 mb and I wait a day or two to download a game.
My life has become very difficult and I barely have time to play 'cause I work a lot to make ends meet but gaming will always be there, even reading your comments is a gateway of gaming for me. Currently, ...
Fatal Frame and Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2x, best edition of my favorite tony hawk game by a mile! I still have my discs... and my og xbox, gosh, I'm to old, I didn't remembered that. Excuse me, guys, I've to take a look into some boxes, don't wait for me XD
I'm sorry monkey, but I disagree with you, I know people on PC that bought the game and play it on CEMU and I also know people with soft-modded Wii Us and have pirated the game to play it, in fact, most PC gamers that I know buy more legal software (their steam accounts are insane) than the 3DS/wii U owners in my vicinity (piracy is specially rampant on 3DS owners). You can't completly stop piracy, no matter the platform, so don't blame PC gaming as a whole, lots of responsble gam...
So true :( Hard to imagine an MvC game without an X-man as well.
So much love, the little guy was about to blow up from happiness! Have fun, kid ^_^
@DJK1NG_Gaming
Edmix said that he will be surprised if this new remake doesn't get ported to the switch in an enhanced form at some point given that the 3ds is at its twilight. This is something that sometimes happens in the game industry and he gave an example with the last of us. He wasn't comparing the games in any way, maybe you misunderstood, like you also misunderstood my comment 'cause I wasn't comparing the games either. I talked about remasters, rem...
Cool list, Fox!
Also, don't forget to save Sega, doctor!
I guess because it was an example of a enhanced port between "two different systems" with different architectures? Nintendo also releases remasters, remakes and ports of games from systems on their last legs like those Wii U games on Switch, same as the other "different company".
True, the game alone is a 9-10 but this is kind of a downgrade if you come from the Wii U original. This could had been called, "Gold edition" "Switch edition" or even "Kung Foot T.E." XD. But it's definitely not "The definitive edition".
Skyrim was already portable, it runs on windows tablets years before the Switch and on 300$ tablets a year before the release of the switch. Steam users don't need to pay again for playing the game on the go. For switch users, it's still a win to be able to play such a great game thought.
Cube i7 Stylus for example (270-330$)

It's a mix of fire retardant chemicals and a kind of "cheap ABS" plastic, late snes units don't suffer from it, some batches of chemicals are different so some consoles won't "oxidise". Leave luck to heaven, 'cause ninty knows how to make the $.
Even the wii could've emulated the SFX chip, it must've been a licensing issue. Nintendo, as usual, spewing bs. Penny pinchers, racist buggers.
Count me in.
You can switch sprites in the hd remix, it had an advanced online setup, remixed music, new announcer, 8 player tournaments, revised endings and more, just for 15$ at release, The whole freaking game! Now they just add 2 characters (that are modified characters) and "some" new stuff for 25$ more? Let me remind you, again, they did the whole freaking game, almost from the ground up, for 15$. No sale, this is a 5$ expansion at best.
At least show us some progress guys, that dragon was awesome. A drop of new gameplay perhaps?
Some people need to feel their choices and opinions validated, that's why those kind of people hate comparisons and that's how the console wars begin, but luckily, there are people that just want to talk about the games, it’s cool how some people can take a game and put it in a different light, is not always better, but it's still cool, modding and emulation can open so much doors and, at the end, they can also have a positive impact in the industry. I'm sure that Nintendo saw...
