Yeah, Jack Burton just looks that big old storm right in the eye and says "give me your best shot....I can take it!"
GTX 970 is 10% faster than R9 290 and at half the "power consumption" for 329$ "new" and if one is not interested in saving a few bucks in the power bill let's wait and see the numbers on how much those card can be pushed in OC. Never the less the GTX 970 is a newer card, the R9 290 is still a heck of a card and that CF setup will keep you in the game for years to come.
Maxwell cores vs Kepler cores (Nvidia claims a 128 CUDA core SMM has 90% of the performance of a 192 CUDA core SMX), larger L2 cache reduces the need for a bigger bandwidth, higher clocks helps giving a boost to the texture fill rate so the 128 TMUs are not an issue, I guess the increase in Raster Units is there to help with bigger resolutions and last but no least the lower TDP which means less heat, so there is a lot of room for "OC", even on air! XD
A Link to the Past, Link's Awakening DX, Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask.
With the advancements in processing and energy consumption plus game streaming, I can see modular phones with arrangeble controller schemes in the future and a line of phones supporting a big game platform. Mobile and handheld gaming are destined to each other since the birth of the online gaming era, it just need to be made right, the day will come.

@starchild
I kinda agree with you but I hope that, 'cause of competition (in order to tout more features), it might comeback. The market can work in both ways, stream a game or play the disc as I believe this will be the same for all games in the future and will not be limited to backward compatibility only.
Cross-platform save is a great feature for Psn but in PC you just upload your save file to the cloud (or a drive) and keep playing on the go with a x86 portable device (laptop, ultrabook, etc) I hope that sony keeps the x86 architecture for the next console so that native backward compatibility wouldn't be an issue again.
Agree with Mr.NewMonday, I have both platforms and I enjoy my 3ds more but the best current portable generation game I've played is Tearaway, it's that special, I enjoyed gravity rush as well and gave me the vibe that I was playing a classic PS2 game but I have to say that 3ds has so much damn good games that it is the platform I recommend and Mario Kart 7 is "the game" XD it just leaves the system when a new game arrives and it always comes back! I just wish for more mainst...
I played T.P. and talk about it in a birthday party and people went nuts, even non regular gamers where interested in it and where adding quotes of Java games like "hotel 626" and other scary games that reached mainstream audience, I felt so proud of how gaming has now become a big entertainment media and everyone was enjoying the subject, then they began to ask where could they download the teaser and sadly, I had to inform them that it was only available on one platform for the mo...
It's the other way around: <<INDIEGOGO CAMPAIGN APRIL 02/2013: Which platforms will be supported?
Windows PC for sure. Linux and Mac OSX could be a possibility, since Unity in theory supports both systems. But I honestly don't have any experience with those. So I would have to either buy computers to run these operating systems, or outsource for a studio to do the conversion.>>
The game it's an original PC Indie coming to the Xbone meaning you didn'...

I permanently lost 1 land convoy and 1 sea convoy with a bug that made them "stuck" in an attack plus I had the sea convoys routes always in 80% risk for some reason, I made a new file, got 1 land convoy stuck again but the sea convoys delivers were fine except 1 route that was permanently stuck at 80% again, another issue I encountered was that I lost a lot of special ingots and other items because new items weren't adding up in my inventory 'cause there was some stupid lim...
Fix your goddamn games first Ubi, I had so many issues with AC3 that I should have a green lantern's ring for finishing the game after so many crippling bugs, a total endeavour of will power I must say.
Here comes again, the last of us mantra, repeat the freaking game name in every article with fervor and devotion till it hurts, praise it 'till everybody is brain dead cause is the greatest achievement in gaming and a one of the world wonders... ¬_¬ (I don't hate the game, but this is a bit to much)
At least we know that he has the skill for a tormented character, he can be a father figure a badass and he understand drama plus del Toro and Kojima, Silent Hills gonna be a heck of a ride!
@TricksterArrow I don't know man, when I saw him at the end of the teaser one of the things that crossed my mind was that he could've pulled off a good Harry Mason, I'll wait for the game before passing judgment but I believe that hiring the right actors in cinematic games adds to the story.
Portable metal gear solid 5 through laptop or shield, that is a good reason too.
Good luck!!
If nintendo lets me down with the adapter support I'm sure that the PC community will be there for me and my GC games, dolphin paired with adapter FTW XD it's just a matter of time
