I've been gaming my entire life and maybe it's because of maturity but when your life revolves around video game releases and saying things like "I must own it", well it's just sad. How about instead of spending every penny on a video game you guys spend it on you know, a life! I like Uncharted as much as the next guy but I can easily wait until next spring to pick it up at a dirt cheap price and spend that extra cash on a real night out with my woman.

So Sony decided that the unfriendly developer chip that allowed for Microsoft to gain 50% market share from the Playstation brand needed a sequel? Good grief. Another generation of the "untapped" power of a Sony console. If I was in Redmond I'd be as giddy as a school boy at this news.

As someone who has seen every Star Wars film on day one including the original back in 1977 along with all the re-releases and unfortunate prequels I too love the Mass Effect universe more.

It's clearly just an opinion but I would take Mass Effect, KotOR or even Jade Empire over anything Lucas has done since the first Ewok hit the screen in 1983.

I grew up on Star Wars, every other picture of me as a child is with Star Wars toys, birthday decorations, t-s...

Too little, too late. Microsoft is better suited to make this happen across multiple devices.

Any kind of action would have made this game better. If it hadn't been for the 1930s/40 inspired design of the game (my favorite era for music and movies) it would have been difficult for me to finish this title.

Interrogations were a cool idea but to build a game out of them in my opinion was a huge mistake. I want to play a game, not watch a game.

As a child of the 80s who can remember walking to the local video store to trade NES carts I can not wait for this:)

The last time I enjoyed Zelda (or Mario) was on the N64.

A game that is good regardless of fps or resolution.

The last sentence of the article sums up my cautious optimism on this title: "I just hope all my favorite characters return as recruitable squad members."

There was no other title I was looking more forward to then ME2 this generation and was very dissapointed to see a character like Ashley turn into a 2 minute cameo and instead spending my time with a new character like Jacob tell me about all his daddy issues.

I know Ashley looks to be returning i...

I've been slammed for this before and I know I will again but the biggest factor for me in most multiplatform titles now is the noise of the Blu-ray lense in the PS3 pulling information off the disc.

Now if had the choice to fully install a game to my 500gb hard drive on the PS3 I would have probably sold off the Xbox last year or at the very least buy most multiplats on the PS3 because both systems have overall leveled out.

For an example put in someth...

I know 360 and PS3 will end up being more or less tied for world wide sales but Sony really messed up this generation. The fact is that Microsoft owns North America now and was able to take about 50% of the market from Sony world wide. That's huge.

I hope Sony learned their lesson, will listen to developers and avoid the giant enemy crabs this time around.

Early in this generation I really loved everything about Gears of War, was really blown away. Gears in my eyes was the most influential game this generation in terms of gameplay mechanics but I feel Uncharted made it so much better.

I finished Gears 3 last week and was quite frankly underwhelmed by it and found myself putting in UC2 immediately after and was still blown away. It comes down to personal taste without a doubt but U3 just looks like an amazing title in every ca...

Out of that list Final Fantasy XIII and Mass Effect 3 are the only day one titles I'll be picking up. The only game I picked up so far this year on day one was Gears of War 3, Uncharted 3 will be the next.

In general I don't pick up a lot of releases on day one anyway and overall I am just not into gaming as big as I once was. At this point I'd rather put time and money towards real life adventures as opposed to living them through a screen.

Ok, "thousands of hours" is quite silly and could clearly be applied to just about anything in life. For example, this year (if all goes right) I'll spend thousands of hours breathing.

I'm very excited for the single player campaign, will complete 3 or 4 times just like I did first two installments. Multiplayer hasn't been my thing since Mario Kart/Perfect Dark on the N64 so that will knock down on my "thousands of hours" in Uncharted 3, lo...

I am excited to finish the story, ME1 was my favorite title of this generation, but with that ME2 was a disappointment.

It was very frustrating to spend so much time with Ashley in the first title only to have her disappear in ME2 outside of a very short cameo (same with Wrex). In ME1 you spent your time building relationships through the conflict. In ME2 the threat is even more urgent and yet we have to go out of our way to help countless new characters reconcile their fami...

I was at Best Buy today and a mother of 3 was asking sales rep how long until PS4 came out. Guy said "At least 6 years mam". Lol, what a jerk. So when he walked away I told her more like 2 years, 3 years max. They decided to hold off:)

It is still the only game in the series that I truly loved. Sure the graphics and mechanics are outdated but overall I would take this title over any game in the series. For myself Red Dead Redemption is the best sandbox game right now and would much rather see a prequel to that then anymore GTA.

Final Fantasy VII is my favorite game of all time, hands down and I still felt this was even after downloading again through PSN last year. However, and I know I'm going to get strung up for this, I REALLY enjoyed FF XIII and am very excited for part 2.

I'm not a huge Final Fantasy fan, after part VII I just didn't enjoy the series as much but 13 was a lot of fun in my book. I understand the gripes with it, I really do but they weren't my gripes:)

Looking forward to a new generation with new IPs. Gears, Uncharted, Mass Effect, Bioshock were all brilliant original ideas this generation. At least Nintendo knows how to reinvent the Mario series time and time again, Ratchet is the same ol' same ol'.

KotOR was my first experience with Bioware and I can remember being blown away within the first 5 minutes. I would later feel that same way about Mass Effect which has become hands down my favorite series this generation.
