Only a 10 out of 10? WTF, I'm not buying it now, the score isn't good enough :p

Meh, it was ok but so was Infamous 2. This is a series (along with Resistance) that I am really hoping don't show up next generation. It's time to move on to some better ideas.

Pirates are only making it easier for developers and publishers to push things more towards DLC and activation codes. If people think this generation is bad just wait until the next set of consoles come out.

If you are a gamer then support the developers who are spending their time, money and resoures to create the activity we love and enjoy.

A lot of great titles this Fall although Gears 3 and Uncharted 3 were the only two day one purchases for myself. Next year Mass Effect 3 is the only day one purchase I see at the moment. Twisted Metal 3 will come and go just as quickly as Resistance 3, Infamous 3 and MotorStorm. In general most first party games on PS3 don't do much outside of Uncharted.

Mario, Zelda and Metroid are in general quality games but the franchises are getting a bit long in the tooth. I feel the same with Halo on Xbox or God of War on Playstation. Nintendo needs quality third party support and some new in house IPs. However all is for not as their hardware on Wii-U will be outdated within a year of it's release.

Looks fantastic and I can't wait to play but to be honest all of this makes me look that much more forward to a new proper Fallout sequel next generation.

Of course it doesn't look that close to the game character but who cares - boobies!

I've been doing much of the same with games recently. I figure that it won't be too long before New Vegas hits as well. Skyrim looks great but I will wait to get a complete game vs one that is half cooked with extra fees for DLC.

Or pick up the non-butchered versions right now:)

I will keep an eye on the game but I have not enjoyed a GTA game since the groundbreaking GTAIII. To be honest the only Rockstar game I have enjoyed since then has been Red Dead Redemption. Now a prequel to that would be a game I would be picking up day one.

Part of my problem with GTA overall is that so much focus is on ebonic/rasta culture. This is a group of people, music and fashion that has never appealed to me in any way.

Before clicking on the link my first thought was how much I hated Lazarevic in Uncharted 2 so I have to agree that it was a huge blemish in an otherwise perfect game. In all honesty it took a 9/10 game for me and made it an 8, I thought it was that bad.

I for one am grateful that overall the boss fights have disappeared from this generation of games. I like a steady campaign that evolves throughout the story with interesting characters. Not a brilliant story that ends with...

Personally I'm looking forward to playing Mario, Zelda and Metroid on my PS5/Xbox1080 in about 10 years. Wii-U meet your new friend, the Dreamcast.

It's an easy agree for myself in part because the art direction is brilliant and in part because my favorite time period for music, film and architecture is the 1930s/40s.

It's too bad that what was my favorite single player experience to begin this generation has turned into Gears of War.

I have to admit, and maybe it seems like a trivial gripe but, I was not a fan of any of the lambent creatures at all. In fact it brought the game down a lot for my own experience. In general Gears 3 felt less like a single player game and more like various backdrops for "horde mode" with pumpkins thrown in for color.

I have no doubt that Skyrim is going to be a much more polished game and I'm very excited to get my grubby little hands on it. However, a big reason that I loved Fallout 3 was the retro-wasteland backdrop. My favorite movies and music are from the 1930s and 40s which feature heavily in the series in addition to the 1950s nuclear themes.

I haven't enjoyed Nintendo since the N64 and to be honest it was in large part because of Rare who were at the top of their game back then. After the N64 I've been burned twice with the Gamecube and Wii, it will not happen again.

The controller is goofy and the fact that you only use one (and if it breaks holy expensive to replace!)is a big WTF for a product geared towards children and families.

Another problem is that when PS4 and 720 launch the...

I feel pretty lucky to have been able to play both of these fantastic series. I lean more towards Gears of War simply because of the sci-fi backdrop but there is no doubt that Epic and Naughty Dog put out two of the most important games for each console this generation.

Silly I know but I had actually been waiting the last few months to purchase "Costume Quest" on PSN. I've always been a fan of survival horror but this weekend I wanted to change it up with a more innocent side of Halloween and I think the game is just brilliant.

Maybe it's because I've spent more time on PS3 as this generation has gone on but I truly enjoy the controller much better now then it's Xbox counterpart. In fact it's why I'm getting Skyrim for PS3. I totally get why people have a prefence of one over the other. I went from all 360, all the time to barely any this past year outside of Gears 3 and now the controller feels clunky again.
