They are making a system with a proper controller?
@Wintersun616 put in Uncharted 1, Red Dead Redemption, Heavy Rain, Bioshock, Dead Space, La Noire and you will hear the disc being read regardless of which model you have.
It doesn't happen with all PS3 games Uncharted 2 only does it during load screens for example but the games it does do it on, it's a huge deal breaker for me. So when Carmack brought up the churning sound pulling info. off a Blu-ray in relation to Rage I knew which system I was picking it up for, t...
I understand most didn't find these to be quality titles at all so no surprise they are overlooked but two of my favorites that nobody ever talks about have been Kelly from GunValkyrie (Xbox) and Alicia from Bullet Witch (Xbox 360). I enjoyed the heck out of both of those games and they were the very definition of failures:)
I second the LOL.
For the most part I assume that the majority of people who would be interested in a Silent Hill HD collection are those who have played the originals. As a long time fan of 1,2,3 and yes, even part 4 this was the collection above all collections I was waiting for.
I was dissapointed as many others to find out there would be new voice work but got over it quickly, waiting to see how it turned out. But I have to agree with chidori666, the ...
PS3 has some fantastic exclusives and that's the route Sony is going with it's system, experiences you can't get anywhere else. On the other hand Microsoft has focused on a few top tier exclusives but letting third party do the majority of the work.
Now maybe going forward this will back-fire as multiplats are looking solid on both consoles. I know for myself Dead Space, Bioshock, Bayonetta, Red Dead Redemption and more were all the reason I needed to own a 36...
Its always full but of what? I mean there is little going on, would rather be playing an actual video game then walk around in a virtual advertisements.
Please Sony, just stop beating this dead horse.
Trolling for hits if I've ever seen it. I'm the first to admit that there are games coming out that will probably be better experience all around Skyrim and Rage for example but to say Gears sales will dissapoint is absurd. I'm willing to be that when compared to Uncharted, Batman, Rage, Skyrim and Deus Ex that it blows all of them out of the water. Pre-orders themselves are already huge.
Little Big Planet is a series I want to like because the art direction is amazing but I just don't find very fun. I don't enjoy creating my own content and yet collecting content for creation is a huge part of the game. To be honest if it were not for the Uncharted series I wouldn't even own a PS3.
Uncharted 2 is on the list:)
All opinion clearly. I think Journey looks great but outside of that Bastion and Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet have been two of my favorite games this summer period.
Thank you for the personal attack, I'm not quite sure how more options is dumb. Anyway, the ability to fully install a game on a hard drive means you don't need to listen to the blu-ray lense pulling information off the disc. Put in a title like Red Dead Redemption, Bioshock or Dead Space on PS3 and listen to the disc being read. Now take those same games and install to the hard drive on the 360 and hear nothing.
Carmack brought this up when discussing Rage and Qua...
So the PS4 is coming out next week then? All joking aside I have no doubt we will see some quality titles on both systems before this generation is over but to me both PS3 and 360 are feeling tired. Uncharted, Gears, God of War, Halo, Resistance, Fable, Infamous etc...
I'm not as concerned about a leap in graphics as I am in new IPs.
I like that I have the opportunity to fully install any game I would like to the 360. I can't figure out why Sony does not allow this, especially with the slow read times on Blu-ray. At first I thought it was because of size but titles like Infamous 2 and other AAA PS3 titles are available for full download on PSN. Rage will run better on Xbox and it will be thanks to the full install.
I would like to see some new original quality titles, not Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Killzone 3, Gears of War 3, God of War 3 and Halo umpteen-million.
Hmmmm. It looks like a step up but not even close to the leap that Unreal made in their tech demo.
I wish Sony would drop home all together and focus on building a strong online service to match Xbox Live.
I for one am grateful when the differences are so small. If only every multiplat came down to a few seconds in various load times. Picking up the PS3 version tomorrow:)
I'll reserve judgement until tomorrow when I have an opportunity to try it myself, maybe I'll feel the same but after so many great reviews I doubt I will.
If Sony had listen to the development community as a whole we wouldn't have to wait for head to head comparisons to see which version, usually 360 is the best option.
