A box with a game disc and voucher does NOT in any way equal a "complete" edition.
I don't pay cash for a box containing a piece of paper with a goddamned I.O.U. on it.
If I wanted to download it -I WOULD HAVE DOWNLOADED IT.
Looks extraordinary. Giger would be proud. Those are my two most anticipated titles.
Oh, it will be when I finally buy it.
Grossly underappreciated and underrated. Current gen remasters PLEASE!
Yeah, because that's really what Ubi needs... MORE focus on online gaming. /s
Black Mirror is a brilliant, bleak vision of the future and every episode is completely unique; the influence of technology on society being the only real common thread. If you haven't seen it, definitely seek it out.
A Telltale spin on Black Mirror sounds like a fantastic idea.
I don't follow the logic. Why would that be?
...because they want to be able to serve ads for nineteen pages. If they could think of a 20th game, that would have been another page.
An announcement for an announcement that there will be an announcement. Useless.
Nice. Thanks for the heads-up.
@ Shin
Let's see...I picked up Kings Quest, Dwarves, Technomancer, the RE4 port, Painkiller on PS3, McDroid, Steamworld Heist and the Just Cause 3 expansion pack.
I wouldn't have bought half of this stuff at the regular price, but a 75% off, it's worth checking out.
Don't just look at the slide show, go to PSN and check the listings, there's plenty of great stuff this month.
I dropped $70 and saved $164.
Swap file space for installation. Doom is 70g but won't even download unless you have at least 140 gigs available.
Unwatchable mess
I totally agree. It's a cheap tactic and completely exploitative. I love it.
"every so often you'll come across a remake or a remaster that's actually better than the original game."
That's a sly presupposition. Saying it as if it's a fact doesn't make it so. It's also a ridiculous insinuation in that it presumes it's an exception rather than a norm.
Of course remakes and remasters are usually BETTER than the originals -otherwise there would be no point. Taking the original material and improving it IS ...
Considering that the game (and trilogy) is still better in almost every respect than 90% of the games that have been released since and is an influence upon and a standard by which many games are measured, then yes, absolutely, of course it still matters.
It is still one of the industry's finest masterpieces.
I don't think anybody LIKES to, but I fairly often feel compelled to by GOTYs or remasters. Lately I've been doing a lot of holding out for complete releases since I have such a huge backlog to keep me busy.
PSN doesn't seem to be recognizing the season pass atm.
I'd really like to see a LoK remaster too (I have a long wish list), but we'll have to disagree on the LoU remaster, which was, well, a master-piece.
