Me too. I still have a couple of hundred PS3 games in my backlog. I'll be playing on the system for a long time to come.
I'm looking forward to Anthem because Bioware, I love your games and Jade, I love YOU.
You both have my sympathies, however, because EA will find a way to f*ck it up.
Hopefully all the bad press they've created for themselves will will rattle investor confidence, because E.A. corporate creeps WILL take notice when their stock value takes a hit. That seems to be their ONLY real concern... because the end users certainly aren't.
If you give EA $2000 for a single game, I'm gonna cast a spell to put "the curse of poverty" on you.
So, you can play this game exclusively for eight hours a day, every day for the next year and a half to be able to access the content you've paid for...
...OR you can give EA a few weeks of your hard earned wages for the privilege of accessing the content of a game you've already paid for...
...OR you can just NOT BUY the stupid thing and give a big middle finger to EA for being a bunch reprehensible douchebags.
I swear the world is going insane around me......
I couldn't care less about the multiplayer so I'll be picking up a used copy.
It's not even a question any more. There are many creative masterpieces in gaming, just as moving as in any other artistic medium. I say this as an artist.
Deluxe Edition? Sure, that's a flexible word with an ambiguous meaning.
Complete Edition? It better actually be or it'll be the last game I buy from you.
"Complete" is a definitive and there's no redefining the word to suit current business interests. I'll boycott any company that lies to me.
Ranked from best to even bester because there's no such thing as the "worst" Uncharted game.
In my world that's possible.
Absolutely loved this game. Can't wait for the final chapter. Tarsier have created a charming, creepy and occasionally terrifying dream-like masterpiece.
Bandai on the other hand, are a bunch of a-holes for releasing the "complete" edition with a f*cking I.O.U. in the box for the last 2 of 3 dlc packs before they were even coded.
My hope is that they (or someone) will release a true complete edition after February.
Another announcement for announcement that announces absolutely nothing. Don't bother.
This statement and what it's impact might mean for the industry as a whole gives me a really grim feeling of uneasiness for the future of games.
Take-Two is arguably one of the most influential companies in the industry and controls a massive number of the top AAA gaming IPs.
"the success of the blockbuster franchise published by Activision Blizzard is “only at the expense of AM General..."
Wow.
Because the few seconds I get to spend inside a humvee are the only real reason I buy COD games. /s
Actually, to be honest, they could be called "generic army transport vehicles" for all I care or even remember about WHAT cars are in COD games.
AM General is getting a bit big for it's...
I think you might get your wish with "Scorn". It looks to be very much influenced by the works of Giger and Beksinski. "Agony" as well, to a lesser degree.
"Commie"? Really? Get your head out of McCarthy's ass.

I'm not happy about it but I think your estimate is closer to the probable price range than Pachter's.
I think that the pricier interim consoles recently released are partially MS and Sony testing the waters for the upcoming incremental editions.
Apple charging an insane $1200 for a f*cking phone AND getting away with it will probably embolden other hardware producers to decide that their products deserve a price boost as well.
Everything else? All the non-exclusive games? I don't understand.
Greater graphic fidelity is always welcome, but ultimately it's not about the hardware, it's the software that counts. That's why my xbone has sat cold and idle for a long time. It almost feels like a waste of half a grand and the future is not looking much brighter. I'll be damned if I'm going to waste another $600+ on the promise that things will get better.
Microsoft has made very little effort to really compete with Sony lately and as a result, developers don&...
I really enjoyed it too. I even imported the Valentine Edition Box set from Japan for my collection.
Killer Is Dead is another great unique game from Grasshopper.
