I completely agree. This trilogy took a series that I thought was okay and turned it into one of my favourite franchises. I think the trilogy is a masterpiece. Can't wait to see where we go next.
I've been wanting some kind of a follow up to the Alien Breed Trilogy for more than a decade. Team17 told me to wait and see. Still waiting.

Most pixellated retro games, annual sports games and multiplayer anything are garbage afaic, but... one man's filler is another man's treasure. Carrion was great btw.

I was very disappointed to see this was from Arkane. The Dishonored series are artistic masterpieces of style and substance. This game looks like so many other generic shooters... replete with pink guns, bland cartoony characters and characterizations, boring dialogue, lame humour and cookie cutter art style. Nothing about the trailer made me want to play it.

Sure, but it's been a whole year and I STILL can't get one in Canada at m.s.r.p. -only $1500+. A bloody YEAR! That's pathetic and now I'm apathetic. I no longer give a f*ck about getting one a.s.a.p.. I'll buy a ps5 whenever... if ever... they're easily available or maybe I'll just buy a Series X first. Whatever...

I declined a refund and started playing after the first patch on the PS4. The updates keep coming and I'm well into a second playthrough and I rarely see glitches any more. Sure, it was definitely a f*cked up move to release it as it was but most of it has since been sorted. Y'all need to stop bitching and start playing. It's a thoroughly enjoyable game and in many ways, it's a fantastic game. I can't wait for the native PS5 release.

Did you watch the same presentation that I did? I streamed the State Of Play over a 1000Mbps connection to 4K TV. Everything was a crisp 1080p (the stream's max bitrate) EXCEPT the Godfall content which looked like garbage.
It's especially difficult to even regard it as "next-gen" when all the gameplay footage they show is always slightly blurry.

I still have a lot left to play from 2019, but so far my favourites have been Strange Brigade and Mutant: Year Zero.
