I appreciate being able to watch video without all the rabid esports commentators constantly yelling over top the gameplay.
I enjoyed Lords Of The Fallen.
It's halfway through the year and I still haven't even started receiving anything to justify the plus subscription.
Seems every time worthwhile games end up on plus... I already own them... without fail.
Well, I guess it's a pretty good problem to have.
I've played some rpgs for months without ever having to listen to some shrill kid swearing or weekend warrior barking orders or some idiot bro-dude dude-bro-ing at me. Those are some of the main reasons some of us can't appreciate online games.
I won't buy any more games from a company that run their business as though they were an organized crime syndicate.
Yes of course (and a good pc too).
If you're heart is really into gaming, you will commit to any budgetary adjustments and/or sacrifices to get the best of all worlds.
You'll get to enjoy everything gaming has to offer across the spectrum and the petty squabbles of platform elitism and exclusivity are left beneath you.
Thank you for putting everything on one page.
I enjoyed the show but I think Shawn Layden seemed tired... like his heart wasn't really into it but he was trying badly to feign enthusiasm. Maybe someone else should step up next year or maybe Sony should hire some celeb who's really enjoys gaming to host the show like Ubi used to do with with Aisha Tyler. I missed her this year.
Personally, I hate QTEs. Such a cheap way of propelling a story/game along.
The gameplay looked like it was just a cg movie in the form of an endless stream of QTEs.
Very pretty to look at but doesn't look like much fun to play.
"This demo left me feeling nothing for the characters"
I agree. I was excited for Detroit but I'm left feeling a lot less interested in the game after seeing this trailer.
I kept thinking why would I want to fight FOR the androids? This trailer instilled no sympathy or empathy for their cause. In fact... kind of the opposite.
Well said. Me too. Except for fat people.
just kidding.
Pfft, whatever... half of them are just tits-for-tips.
PIPOPING ftw.
I wish they would just make the entire game available to all players including solo players. They kept pushing "community, community, community" in the D2 reveal twitchcast but I have ZERO interest in playing any game with someone else.
In D1, I managed to enjoy all the strikes solo using a time hack, but I shouldn't have to f*ck with a game to play all the content I purchased. I also managed to glitch my way into the Vault Of Glass but it proved insurmountably difficul...
pvp?
Local independent game store down the street usually. Ebay for rarer stuff.
Damn! Back to the drawing board...
Well, I know I'm not alone in my assertion.
Of the many hundreds of games I've played over the last 40 years, The Phantom Pain earned a place in my top ten.
Ultimately, to each their own.
The Phantom Pain was a masterpiece.
Happy Canada Day to you too sir.
