I feel everyone who clicks on this article should follow through to the link.
It will also help them realize that the differences between the two aren't as extreme as that one level depicts. The level that you provided pictures for.
Plus they will gain some insight on the 2D and 3D performance.
Crytek did a good job though. "Can it run Crysis, Heck yea"
Sad thing is, I kept reading after MAJOR SPOILER.
Dang it...
Then the barrier would be the expensive "glasses less" monitors.
The score in the article is a 5 out of 5, why the discrepancy?
Lol, nice one.
I agree on the 8.5 to. Solid game play, smooth, very few bugs from my experience so far.
Only thing that seems to be lacking is the story. Missions all seem to start the same. The whole "gotta do something for me first" thing. I'm sure there is a more creative way to start a mission.
All versions have the same textures, that may be true, but they all handle them differently.
In other words, the PC will have a "superior" way to display those textures. For instance, the PC will stream the textures at a higher resolution, making them appear superior, when in reality they are the same textures, just displayed differently.
So relax PC guys......
To those who don't want these "useless and frequent" updates.
How else are they going to fix small issues like the cloud game save bug (which you can fix yourself by updating your time via internet in the settings) or the volume bug with they new 7.1 headset?
Would you like them to fix it now, or in 4 to 6 months with the next big update?
I may not be right, but didn't Red Dead Revolver take place before Red Dead Redemption?
So why a prequel?
The one thing I agree with without a doubt is that a game should be finished before the review is done.
I strongly believe that you can't review a game fairly unless you have finished it.
What comes to mind is IGN's review of GT5. While not terrible, it was shocking that the review only considered up to level 4 (At least from what I hear). That is excluding a lot of events, races, cars, etc...
But as for the grade, an 8 being barely...
Maybe, just maybe, they started printing the game since it is RELEASING in just a few days prior to the Beta fixes being implemented.
I know, sounds so crazy, a game being printed weeks in advance to meet demand.
Also consider that a patch day 1 clearly shows they FIXED the issues prior to release, just not prior to printing the disc's.
Side note, if you weren't getting it, don't comment.
Quick question, have you ever played in 3D?
It doesn't make gameplay harder, just adds to the experience.
Openly attack or speak their mind on the truth?
You might be confusing the two.
Either way you must not support MS or Nintendo.
Same here. I remember Codemasters talking about making a AAA FPS thought, IMO the game is sub par.
Lets here it people, bash BF3 like you did KZ3 for being about 6 hours of varied action.
Lol, good one.
I can virtually punch people in the face in The Fight, slice people to pieces in God of War, blow off heads in Left for Dead, etc....
But that doesn't make it easier for me to do those things in real life. It also doesn't make it easier for me to witness, or experience those things in real life.
Why? It only adds to the options I already have.
It's not like they are forcing you to complete part of your game on the handheld.
But overall there is no such thing as "without compromises". If a game can run 120 fps in 2D mode, it will run 60 fps in 3D mode.
If the experience was exactly the same in both 2D and 3D mode, that would mean the developers aren't doing as much as they could on the 2D mode.
It is sort of like HD, if God of War 3 was only 640 X 480 I'm sure it could run in excess of 60 fps. But with HD there are compromises.
And thankfully...
So true, when I was playing Socom I noticed a lot of mics as well.
But people do have mics, think of how many have blutooth headsets. Those headsets are mics for PS3 users.
The difference is, on PSN I was never kicked for not having a mic (which I do have one). Whereas I've seen people kicked on games like Left for Dead because they did not have a mic plugged in. It really depends on the game like you said.
@Kindgoms
While his statement was clearly immature, shown by the disagree's, it is amazing that your even more immature comment has so many agree's.
I am willing to bet you are the only person on this site who fits the description you described.
Clearly you have an overwhelming passion for the Xbox 360 and dislike for any opinions or comments against said console. Which is why you attack the PS3.
In reality...
Ouch,
Good game is getting better... GT5 is one of the only games I have at the moment that still remain relevant and fresh almost a year later thanks to updates.
