It would be possible, but then you would have 8GB DDR3 for the System Memory and 8GB GDDR5 for Graphics Memory.
A typical PC is set up this way, usually with only 2GB to 3GB of GDDR5 memory on the GPU.
But that's not going to happen in a console. Do to their design it is easier to share system and graphics memory from the same pool, which isn't as common on PC.
I don't know about High End just do to it's size.
There is no way you are going to fit a GTX 660 or HD7770 type graphics card in that little box. Not to mention those cards are small compared to their bigger brothers.
It's pretty low end spec wise compared to high end PC's out there right now that can be built for the same price.
But then again it's not meant to be that, which is why the price bothers me.
For everyone saying it looks cheap, keep in mind the price of this. $79.99. So for $20 more you get a statue and a steal case for the game, along with the digital items.

But if one company blocked used games it would not put gamestop out of business and most certainly would not stop a system from selling.

Honestly I've been gaming for over 10 years, I have only purchased about a handful of used games. Only 1 in the past 4 years for my PS3.
Sure it would hurt them if they block used games, but it definitely won't hurt as bad as it's being made out to. Second hand store wouldn't carry their used games, like Gamestop, but they would still sell new ones.

First off, you can upgrade your memory, but it's the system memory and not your graphics memory. Upgrading from 16GB to 32GB of DDR3 system memory is not going to benefit your games since PC games right now don't use that much system memory.
Second, your GTX 680's cost a pretty penny, so I don't know why you are comparing a PC that easily cost over 1,000 dollars to a gaming console that is going to cost half that.

You simply can not compare PC parts to Console parts, it does not work that way.
You buy an 8 core CPU on PC, how many cores are used for gaming? 2, 4 tops.
That same CPU in the PS4 will utilize 8 cores. So an 8 core CPU on a console is BETTER than the same CPU in a PC. The same argument goes for the GPU. Can a 8800GT run God of War 3 like it is on the PS3? Doubt it.
Nothing is future proof when it comes to technology.
There will always be something better, more powerful, or more efficient.
This will be proven when the Xbox Two (for lack of better name) comes out in however many years.
