Some of those games might just be PSN downloadable to. I just woke up (I know I'm lazy today) so I can't think straight enough to name any of their previous PSN only work.
All I have to say is this is eerily familiar to the Uncharted 3 Beta situation.
1.5 million downloads in just weeks but people were saying it was a failure since it was an Open Beta.
In my opinion that doesn't mean it is a failure, just shows there is a market for that game/application, and that market does not include everyone.

Your right about the RAM, 512MB is 512MB.
But the system RAM in the PS3 is XDR RAM. That is already more expensive than DDR3 RAM and is much faster.
EDIT: System RAM being 256MB of the total 512MB.
PVC also isn't steel, or any other type of more expensive and more durable metal either.
It seems to be overpriced no matter how you look at it. And just like others said, a price drop will more than likely happen soon after launch.

Just so you know that has nothing to do with Sony. That is a new Bluray feature that ALL companies will have to adopt in the very near future.
It also has nothing to do with your generation of HDTV from what I'm aware of. It is simply not playing Bluray content in HD with Component cables. This might have something to do with being able to record HD content using Component cables, which would hinder Pirates from reproducing full HD conten...

Just to let you know, something is sacrificed no matter where 3D is implemented, console or PC.
I guarantee you if you have a game running at a set visual setting at 100fps it wont run at 100fps on the same visual settings in 3D.
While it is true that 3D gaming would be better on PC granted you have acceptable specs, which most do.
Visuals would stay intact, frame rates would remain solid. The difference is cost, consoles for 299 or a gaming PC at a higher cost (being realistic).
However the PC has more 3D games, but we all know consoles have more than 5 3D games. 3D is a relatively new push on the current gen of consoles. 3D has been pushed for years on PC.
I agree that the GT series is one of the key IP's Sony has right now. Also one of the longest running series on Playstation platforms.
Uncharted is doing great. Little Big Planet made a good hit this Gen.
Haha, I had a similar thing happen on this same map. Started out with only me vs 1 other. Got a few kills, then the room fills up.
I start knocking them down left and right, got the auger, feeling great, then bamn...... disconnecting. I assume it was some type of network error.
Checked my stats and had a 17 kill streak. Kinda cool to see it happened to someone else though. Sad part is, I thought I was just doing awesome for about the first 8 kills haha. ...
I personally have about 6 games for Move, 3 being Move only and the others Move compatible.
While I'm not overwhelmed with great games at my finger tips, I'm also not completely disappointed.
The Move compatible games are always fun, and I am picking up quite a few this Fall, old and new. But I would obviously like to see more Move exclusives, like Sorcery type games. Maybe even a full on Gladiator type experience, Fallout style game maybe, those wo...
