Portal one was awesome, portal 2 was a bit underwhelming in one area.
The core gameplay was great, a big step up from the first. The inclusion of Co-Op was great as well.
But taking away the test chambers? That was sort of questionable. It might have been done do to time constraints since they added a platform to for the second game. But it would have been nice to see those back again.
I'm referring to the chambers not associated wit...
Like we saw in the Gears over UC3 article?
I don't get how you can see this certain group of hardcore fans but not the other on this site.
Unless of course you are part of the other, just remember denial doesn't help, admitting is the first step, blah blah blah...
EDIT: Almost forgot, why not get both? Gears is one of my favorite 360 series. Uncharted is a great series as well.
You might not like it Orange, but I like the subject line. Don't HAVE to open the message if it is a short one like "send invite".
On live you HAVE to open the message to see what was sent.
Also I like having a trail of messages instead of having them disappear after 30 days. Plus there is no SENT on Live, you just can't see what you sent, period.
Only thing I agree with is the trophies.
I also had a probl...
Because you didn't use them doesn't mean others didn't.
I didn't notice that Other OS was gone, cause I didn't use it.
Your comment should read "Look how much the 360's USER INTERFACE has changed over 5 years"
MS has updated the user interface almost annually while adding features in large updates.
Sony has also added huge features in updates while only making small changes to the user interface. (I'm thinking 3D, Flash update, Trophies, Cloud Saving)
Point is, both have added features and have updated over time. Only a fanboy would argue t...
Vega75.
I'm also sure MS notified their customers within 48 hours because they easily spotted the reason for the downtime.
If it had been an attack on the company, I'm not sure how long it would have taken. Much more complex than spotting an inability to meet rising online traffic (or whatever the reason was for the 11 day downtime).
And I'm pretty sure we were told it was an "intrusion" early one, just not the extent o...
Because breaching customer data is the way to get Other OS back, sure.
It was an attack, plain and simple.
Microsoft has removed features by the way that I know some Live fans liked. Like sending Demo's to your friends via message and the Blade style user interface.
I don't have a full list of removed features from either company, but I assure you features are removed over time, just like features are added over time.
I thought they warned us pretty darn fast and took appropriate actions before giving a full disclosure to the public. How can you say "CC info was compromised" if you don't know.
Maybe that is just me though since I have seen relatives warned MONTHS after data leaks by the hospital their child was born at.
People are underestimating Sony, pointing the finger at them instead of thinking "Hey, maybe the hackers did a damn good job of coverin...
Gotta agree with you Panda.
Just simply based on past console generations 2013 would be about the latest they could release.
I fully expect coverage of the Wii U (obviously), Next Box, and PS4 at E3 2012. If history holds on hardware releases we will see the Next Box and PS4 in 2013 with the Wii U in 2012 unless delayed.
And just because a new generation releases doesn't mean everyone who is satisfied loses out either. Developers will s...
Then how come 95% of GT5 looks better than the PS2 counterpart? (Foliage and People need work)
I understand that they may have reused cars. But that doesn't mean they just ported them in. They still had to apply new textures, the damage modeling, the reflections, new physics, update sounds, etc... for 1,000 cars.
People underestimate the time it takes for a small team like PD to work through that. Not to mention producing 3 games, 2 legit if you don...
May be hard to develop for if you haven't dealt with a similar architecture before, which most haven't before the PS3.
But look at the bright side. It challenges you, makes you think outside of the box. Render this a different way, apply the physics to that in a new way, etc.... All it does in the end besides giving you a few headaches is make you a stronger developer.
If everything is life was easy, what would be the point?
Thought the majority of that is true, it doesn't mean it is the better console.
That is up to each gamer to decide.
No matter how many of these articles pop up, it's not like the gaming industry is going to say "You won the best console award".
A good example is game of the year awards. IGN's game of the year award could be different from Gamespots, which is probably different from ABC Site, etc...
A flop to one company is not a flop to another. Just because every game doesn't sell 6 million in 2 months like Gran Turismo 5 doesn't mean it is a flop.
Also consider all of the "flops" by your standards that are labeled 360 exclusives. Finnhima was considerate enough to list some of those. The only one on his list I wouldn't call a flop is Forza. Just because is doesn't sell like GT5 doesn't mean it is a flop, a few million is good.

I think your missing his point slightly. He is commenting on the "stronger first party" statement when he says "no games for 6 months".
In that case he is correct. No first party game in the past 6 months.
As a whole though, I still find it hard to say that the Xbox 360 has a stronger first party lineup over it's lifetime. If we were in 2005/2006, yes it did, but considering every year I believe the PS3's first party lineup has ...
I don't get how "everyone" is praising it when 99% of the comments on this article resemble yours.
I have a feeling just because it is Sony, people are popping up just to write comments like yours. Just like when something negative happens to Sony, Loner is the first guy on it.
Stop assuming everyone is for it when Sony does it but not when EA does it. Just jumping on the "Site is over run by Sony fanboys" bandwagon.

I have KZ3, so I'll speak on that.
How has Move made that casual or damaged it in any way? Give me a serious answer, not a half baked excuse "only casuals use motion controls", etc....
It does not alter the visual quality, does not change the core gameplay, does not alter the story. All it does is make the right joystick a virtual stick. All the core buttons are still there. I've seen gimmicks using the Move controller, but KZ3 isn't...
I don't much understand it either, but I have to admit I've been sucked into a few friendly discussions/arguments over sales in my past.
But to your comment, more sales could equal better games. A game could get more financial backing if the fanbase is larger.
Haha, I take all numbers that aren't direct from the company with a grain of salt.
But what about VGChartz under tracking Gran Turismo 5 by MILLIONS of units?
I'm just pointing out the obvious that this week they say PS3 sold more in that region. Whether true or not they have to be basing it off something.
And Eu is right, they have been under tracking the PS3 for quite some time. When MS releases numbers then BANG, updated site. W...
47k vs 30k.....
Hmmm... Worldwide, but it appears to me that the PS3 has a 17k, almost 18k lead on the 360 in the EMEAA.
In the US, sure the 360 is outselling the PS3, that is nothing new. But worldwide the story is quite the contrary.
It can do 3D, just not HD 3D due to the limited framebuffer. It has a 10MB buffer, I believe it would need to be 14MB to simultaneously display 2 native 720p frames.
As far as what kind of 3D it supports, I'm not 100% sure. But Sony in particular is pushing stereoscopic.
