It is hard to argue that this isn't viral/internet marketing in any form. They mention the game, which he just so happens to be in, and the developers twitter.
I just don't think this is PURE coincidence, which is the only case that would make this not marketing.

I could be wrong, but I think Windows 7 can handle 24GB of RAM. I know for sure it can handle 12GB with ease.

RAM is crucial for game development, but 10GB seems like overkill to some extent.
Aside from obviously needing a much better GPU and CPU to actually take advantage of that extra RAM.

But outselling Black Ops? I don't think so, Black Ops is one of the very few games that can get less than 1 million pre orders and go on to sell 20 million.
I find it very difficult to honestly believe Battlefield 3 even has a chance at over taking Black Ops lifetime sales.
That doesn't mean BF3 is a bad game, but COD has a very large following. I can see BF3 hitting 10 million on cons...

EDIT: I see what you meant, added a Demo to go WITH the beta code. They could have already done that though. Nothing stopped Epic from including the Beta key. It was their decision not to include a Demo.

He might have been talking about the brutal melee system in KZ3, the first knife kill is very familiar looking to what happens in KZ3.
That doesn't mean it hasn't happened before in previous games, but maybe he is just referring to KZ3 because it is the most recent game he has seen it in. Or maybe the only game he has played with that type of melee.
