Wipeout is crap compared to rollcage, why did they stop making rollcage?
bc2 vietnam, but its more of an official mod than simply dlc.
I would also agree that the gta4 dlc was great. Apart from that though, nothing really has worthwhile dlc. Even the Oblivion dlc was pathetic compared to the morrowind expansions.
does this affect the PC version? Game and Gamestation probably won't even stock it where I am...
er, its only possible because they are aiming at old gen performance. The 720 will follow the traditional approach of cpu and gpu in different chips.
""first production desktop-class processor.....tough competitor for AMD’s Fusion and Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors"
This is nonsense. The article somehow writes this up as a rival solution to x86 based chips for home computers? Its a custom console part. Nothing whatsoever to do with x86 desktop computers or their processors. "
yeah, this ^

I was going to say the same thing. They a...
I presume it is capable of producing colours :P
and 0 people will buy it because it uses gfwl marketplace
"And I still play PS1 and PS2 games every now and then because of the lack of JRPGS"
this ^
also, you mean "good JRPGS"
lol, better? They took out the good multiplayer maps, added in more noob tactics and took out some great guns and replaced them with crappy ones.
Also on PC they took out dedicated servers, which basically makes it instant fail compared to cod4. (though I see this is a 360 review so nvm).
MW2 is MW1 but worse. That is just a fact.
MW3 will probably lie somewhere in between, the only way it could trump MW1 is if the maps are better.
hmm... tbh, wiiU will probably not sell very well because it's between gens (though it probably wont result in a financial loss overall). Sony should do fine, microsoft... lol.
The real focus for share prices comes from handhelds, and it is looking good for both nintendo and sony. Potential software sales will also do something, MS will get a lot of game sales from people who bought kinect and need something to use it with (then be sorely dissapointed), but that won't...
tbh, DNF really is a crappy game though. IGN's failing is in giving way too many games really high scores (like the usual CoD, BF, Fable etc.), their DNF score is about right though.
I'm fairly sure I could pull a better fps campaign from my arse. Especially with the creative openness that duke nukem allows, they don't have to make the scenario realistic or sensible - why not just have hundreds of aliens and shit exploding everywhere? They clearly suffered from va...
meh, 13 was a bad game. This will be too, and anything else enix ever do in the future.
The graphics overall, are quite nice. But it has that gritty upscaled look to it (could just be the screenshot compression though) and the poly count on some of the characters seems a bit low (blocky arm muscles, not as bad as ff7 though lol).
It will be using the same engine as 13 (I presume), so expect the same looks.
Well you are kind of right. I am highly into PC gaming and I do have a deep interest in graphics programming and computer hardware. But when it comes down to it, I can see the importance of things other than hardware specs. (also, I hate Microsoft everybody should throw away their consoles and windows PCs and get Linux PCs :P /sarc)
Basically, expect the wiiU to have graphics that are in-line with mid-high end PCs of today. But unless it has very compelling exclusives, that w...
dude, it's a controller with a screen on it that takes video input from the console and streams input back to the console. As for performance, it has a modern ATI graphics chip and a tri-core cpu - so it will be similar to a mid-high end PC.
Isn't that all you need to know to know everything it can do? Everything else is entirely down to software.
The PSV on the other hand, is a more intelligent device with it's own high performance hardware, so t...
There is a flat 0.8s hardware input lag from kinect. It is all documented in the SDK. I have been using kinect since July last year in Uni, it has loads of input lag. Also it can't detect fingers properly, which is incredibly dissapointing because that decimates nearly every idea I had for it. Now we are limited to flailing around like idiots for the device to get any kind of recognisable input.
oh, you are just a troll. Nice.
The most successful one will be the one with the most aggressive marketing campaign, so... Nintendo. We already know that.
But the ngp is a lot more useful than the wiiU controller, there is nothing stopping it doing all the same stuff and a lot more (it's entirely up to the game programmers). For gamers, PSV linked with a PS3 is far better. (unless you like the wiiU's eye candy, but why pay loads for a new console to p...
No, handhelds make money off hardware sales. That is why they keep releasing new models. PSV will probably be at a loss though, but only until OLED manufacturing costs drop. Then they will release a new version and another one after that, then another one, all to play the same games. Exactly like nintendo have been doing.
Think about the price difference between a handheld and a console... Then think about how much gold, copper and other expensive raw materials are in each of...
Furthermore, how much do wiiU controllers even cost? I cringed at even paying £50 for a ds3 controller, and that didn't have a damn touch screen on it, and at last it was designed to fit comfortably in the hands, albeit japanese hands.
Nintendo have actually gone insane with their controllers and everybody else is now using their original design lol >_<
But yeah, the PSV should be able to do everything in conjunction with a PS3 that the wiiU a...
What are you on about?
Better hardware = better gaming potential, fact.
The only thing that intervenes with that is business. Nintendo and Sony will be doing everything they can to make sure that no big developers work on an engaging smartphone game, because that would decimate their market. Except for idiotic consumer types who buy the latest overpriced handheld as soon as it is launched, people like you obviously.
"Theres limits put on...
wow, all 3 of them!
