To be honest any big-name multiplayer, arcade or racing game these days should have a recording feature. I would assume that BF3 will have one, whether it will be available on the console release is the main question.
3D is a usual PC advantage. You can tell your drivers to try to render any game in 3D, regardless of the game's support for 3D or not (though it won't always work fine if the game doesn't support it)

also... consoles make a loss, not a profit. The whole point in a console is to make a unique market for a share of software profits. (otherwise consoles wouldn't exist at all)
That is how you get good (sometimes better) performance compared to an expensive PC at the time of launch of a console. Also because they aren't plug&play and they can define their own specialised architecture (which can be a good thing or a bad thing) they can keep costs down and not loose ...
The ps4 will either have a new variation of Cell or a new quad/tri core IBM or Intel cpu and it will probably go with nVidia graphics. Most likely 2GBs of video memory and 4GB of system (the most sensible cost-performance)

The Wii U will certainly have graphics which are far superior to the ps3 or 360 (and by far superior, I mean that the chip will be about 5 or 6 times more powerful and it will have 2 to 4 times as much video memory).
The cpu will probably be a bit more powerful than the 360's and a bit less powerful than the ps3's.
Infact, the Wii U will probably be about as powerful as a £400 PC, why is this? Because the graphics chip will probably be a high-end...

not that I would say cod is a bad game, its just that mw2 and bo were both a lot worse than cod4 (because of the bad maps, over the top killstreaks and bad guns)
As long as the PC version isn't broken, then that is great news. Though, the whole entire design of the game would be impossible to put onto consoles in a workable manner with controllers. So either they have broken the PC version so it will be good on consoles or they have made 2 different games.

SSX3 was great :P I loved the style and the general feel of teh gameplay, it still left a huge amount of room for improvement though - hopefully this new one stays true to the series otherwise thats another great franchise being destroyed this gen never to return in it's original glory.
