"I own a good PC, a 360 and PS3 so I can voice my opinion about a platform if it disappoints me."
This ^
I have only booted up my 360 for Reach in the past few months and my PS3 for FF13 also months ago, traded that game in a few hours later.
I doubt I will buy any consoles next gen because their exclusives aren't all that good either, they do often have better single player modes than PC exclusives though (Uncharted, Jak & ...
Obviously you managed to miss all the PC exclusives.
That's all Enix care about. Hence why all their games recently have been junk.
True
I dunno. Halo has had perfect AI since the original Xbox, so they must be doing something wrong if they think the 360 and PS3 aren't capable of pulling off something similar. Fair enough, if there was more ram available it would be easy to make the AI scale better.
The two things that are limiting creativity at the moment:
360's DVD
The RAM quantity on both machines
Both of them severely restrict the scale and interactivity that can ex...

BF is leagues ahead of CoD in online players, competitive teams and longevity.
The thing I have always said CoD does better is gunplay though, the guns in BF never have a particularly good feel to them (except the sniper rifles I suppose). The key to CoD's success has been it's gunplay - the same goes for Halo.
I'll probably get MW3 if it has dedis, I'm not buying another FPS on PC that doesn't have dedis - then it&...
LO, amazing. ME, fantastic. Fable 2, great. The other 2... sort of failed though.
360 needs RPGS, The Witcher 2 will be a good addition. Though I wonder what the frame rate will be >_<
The flood was a necessary part of the game, the AI was designed to fight the way they did for the gameplay to work.
"Halo HAS to get it for revolutionizing the control scheme"
But that's what I am saying, it's the control scheme that TS did perfectly too. What TS didn't do that Halo did was perfect the map design, immersion/cut-scenes, story, audio, Campaign AI etc - Halo just bossed those features big style.
Timesplitters was released before Halo, also it was multiplat... would people stop saying that Halo gets all the credit for mastering FPSs on consoles. It had a far superior single player and set of maps to timesplitters, and the weapons were refined amazingly - but it wasn't the first console fps to use stick controls, infact I doubt even TS was.
Anyway. Yeah. M$ just want some free millions from Halo, they won't be able to improve it much or make a proper new entry ...
that is total bullcrap
Actually they have it fairly spot on compared to real life. The shaders are set up to make it appear as if shown through a camera, not eyes.
What CommonSense said.
People should only buy open platforms and titles on open platforms.
Consoles only exist for the benefit of Sony, MS and Nintendo. The whole point in a console these days (u know, since it's no longer expensive to get gaming hardware in a general purpose machine like the 80s and early 90s...) is to create a unique market base for the platform provider to make royalties from sales.
Also it's so damn expensive to d...
Because a lot of mods are made by developers and students etc. Also the developers are limited by the decisions of cashflow...
Yes! Lost Odyssey. Wow, a top 10 list that has the same #1 as I think should be at #1 :P Also, we need Rollcage 3 - bloody miles better than wipeout, the only reason they canned it was because wipeout was a more established game so it was easier for them to get quick sales (and now it's gone a bit stale, wipeout had already got to its best).
Say 'thxs' for overpriced games? No thanks, we are not console gamers.
Typical publisher idiocy. EA, Ubisoft and Activision have no place in this world anymore.
Especially if they are going to withhold hundreds of millions from the developers and billions from the platform providers and then close studios who made games that sell bad because they wern't given a choice about what to make. Oh.. What? They already did all that? And have been for years!?! FFFFFF....
apart from the texture resolution and some parts that could do with a few more polys when looked at close up - rage totally dominates console graphics.
Nice job missing the point. Obviously I was taking about the maximum storage capacity for the games :/
PCs and PS3 are immune to that failure because they run the disk off HDDs whereas the fail60 uses the outdated DVD.
