this trailer had a big impact on me tbh:

it's something about the music, 2 in particular has by far the best music in the series (why they went so different - yet similar but not as good - after, I am not sure)
windows 7 phone?
sure its plagued with M$ (better than Apple) but its hardware is going to be a lot more powerful than other handheld devices, by a long way.
also Ifail devices use objective C which many programmers really can't be arsed with.
Due to the balance between market share, talent (indie devs) and hardware though; Android games will probably make the largest sales. Unless nintendo wise up and make a pokemon mmo for 3ds (seriously, they H...
good point.
unfortunately the bugs (and general gameplay feel/animation/etc) in the first one annoyed me too much and I am behind on the story so I am reluctant to buy the 2nd one and won't buy the 3rd one.
lol how did you manage to get a disagree for that comment :P
"It's a cool concept, but one I think would get old pretty quickly. Definitely not the type of games I buy consoles for."
this is true, but hundreds of millions of people will - for some reason :/

source isn't out dated at all, the newer adaptions of it have incorporated all the technology changes since it came out in 2004 - except gpu tessellation it seems, but most engines don't support that yet.
valve are probably working on a new engine around now - but knowing their console friendly activities of recent, they probably want to wait till the next gen is looming (which won't be till after gpus drop another fabrication step or consoles will be stuck with u...
call of buggy bad game laddergoat.
meh
someone? it will completely evolve the way we see websites altogether, i.e. web content will be displayed in a 3d environment (some sites will probably do it in an annoying way of course)
@young juice
because he probably needs to show the latency, something that console motion control systems seem to not give a crap about
not that motion control is of any use (for most games) anyway
"when you scale the cube it scales the mass with it"
OH NO THEY BROKE PHYSICS!
@Mystogan
yeah steam has a bigger audience and there is much more consumer confidence on the platform, people are willing to pay a small amount with the risk a game might be bad - which is usually due to it being a console port anyway
the thing about rare is that the talent were what made them good.
when the talent left and made free radical, rare became just a name with some IP
maby we can blame ubisoft for destroying free radical though
now that the talent are with crytek they will be forced to make another bad game probably, instead of making TS4 which is what everybody wants
looks like a bad game
surely it would be better with a controller lol?
good, but will there be any support from the community this time? I have been struggling with phyre for ages due to the lack of proper documentation and the reluctancy for developers to share their findings (because sony's documentation for it is total junk and they have to find out how it works by themselves).
"Sony have touted several new features of the 3.0 iteration and tools, including a new asset pipeline and processing tool, a rewritten level editor, ‘more acc...
ps3 should have gta, ff and metal gear exclusives to be perfectly honest. They would be better games too if that was the case.
These new exclusives (or lead platform launches if you try to catch me out with gta & mgs on the last gen) are just having pushed development and are being over marketed to compensate for the loss in actual good games.
Everybody already knows that move is junk, just like all the other motion systems. Proper gamers don't give a rat's ass about it, it is just Sony's board-meeting-brainstorm-waffl e attempt to get some "market share" in some kind of "emerging" "potential" "consumer" "blah" crap - which probably made more sense than what the Suits who came up with this shit were talking about.
"Sony is expected to see a massive 2011 with PS3 thanks to what is probably the best first-party line-up this year, including Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, inFamous 2, Motorstorm Apocalypse and The Last Guardian."
I am not interested in any of those games :(

"I'm feeling like I'm in a minority that didn't find the sequel to be that hot, because no one has agreed with me in the online social constructs I've commented."
I agree with you. Mass effect is a good series but it has a LOT of room for improvement:
# SO MANY GOD DAMN BUGS, I DONT WANT TO BE SUDDENLY STUCK IN THE FECKIN CEILING - had to get that off my chest
# The gameplay is really linear, they try to disguise it as being more than...
