Apart from the fact that nothing in a game/film/book/etc should be controversial at all because it is FICTION.
It's too difficult to feel any emotion towards what is in a game, the only game that I think has done that is MGS4.
Funny how the ps3 and 360 versions are already cracked and playable and it is harder to pirate it on pc (before release)... Funny how publishers use the stock argument of "there is too much piracy on PC for us to make the game decent on PC"...
It looks good to me. But I won't buy any game these days without a demo first incase it is going to be a buggy pile of crap or an unplayable console port like every other game.
They are killing themselves by not releasing a demo if it is genuinely good - don't they realise that people aren't willing to buy a game that is part of a new series without some evidence that it is worth getting?
Er. This isn't evidence in any way shape or form for GTA5.
GTA5 will be announced at E3, out Q4 this year and set in San Andreas. It is a bit damn late for them to still be hiring programmers this late in development (unless they want a buggy mess); expect short-term QA job openings to crop up.
Yeah. Homefront looks like it has taken the good things about cod. Nothing in the vid shows that it hasn't taken the bad too :P

The shooting seemed way too accurate but meh, that would hardly ruin a game. The grenade throwing angle is a bit crap, thats going to get me killed a lot. Also, you can just shrug off an RPG right next to you? :P

Acusing devs of being lazy? DICE are as lazy as the rest of them, BF games are so damn buggy and they never patch them properly because they keep moving onto the next game.
BF has so many problems that need fixed and maby then it will be as good as he says (yes, the games in the series are amazing at their core but there are so many gameplay flaws and obvious bugs that were clearly ignored during QA).

This is true, 360 is far more expensive to game on properly (more expensive than a PC gaming experience can be). I suppose lots of people think it is worth it or they don't realise how much they are spending.

True, though the wii does have some good games and they focus on fun which can be important (if the games are genuinely fun).
I really enjoyed mario kart wii (though the bikes totally broke it) and smash bros brawl, both those games can be played in a really hardcore gamer style yet they are also great light hearted entertainment.
Nintendo need more like that but it isn't in their business interests to go after the ps3/360 market share :(, sellouts - nint...

Generally, people with a ps3 and xbox360 think the ps3 is a better machine but spend most time and get the most enjoyment from playing the 360 - but that is only because microsoft paid their way through all the developers etc.
Lots of people with a gaming PC too will have the consoles gathering dust most of the time to be honest. But it obviously depends on their own taste in games not the actual system.

I disagree with points 2 and 3 - they are based off stereotypes and misconceptions.
Also, a lot of the points can be caused by other activities which everybody considers healthy. (like sports, though I am not denying that the excersise is a good thing lol).

The chip is 10MB but only 8MB of it is available to the programmer.
It is used to store extra framebuffers for use by deferred rendering and some types of lighting.
Tessellation won't put any stress on that memory anyway because of where it is applied in the graphics pipeline.
